HOW YOU CAN HELP US
As ABC's Residential Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader, you will be responsible for the professional completion of work assigned and will lead a crew to help with customers' lawn and outdoor space with professionalism and excellent customer service. If applicable, you may or may not also be assigned as the crew's driver.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Verifies property address/location before services has begun.
Reads all notes added to route to make sure that additional and special instructions are followed. Ensures mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and all other lawn maintenance work is done in a professional manner.
Must be proficient in the operation of all lawn maintenance equipment and becomes proficient in all new equipment needed for lawn maintenance.
Instructs crew members in the proper way of handling mowing equipment, and safety procedures in handling that equipment.
Directs workflow and work performed by other members of the crew. Becomes familiar with customers' expectations and service contracts.
Greases and oils machines and equipment, checks blades for replacement or sharpens, reports any malfunctions for repair and ensures that all equipment needed for work is loaded and working properly.
Ensures trailer lights are working properly, including trailer gate, boards, safety clips, reports any malfunctions for repair.
Identifies and reports to Service Manager any damages to customer's property immediately. Before leaving customer's property inspects the work area to ensure all maintenance was provided according to contracted services.
Uses personal protective equipment at all times as is required by safety standards and for prevention purposes.
Meets deadlines of route and informs Service Manager of all resets and skipped services or not completed work on a daily basis.
Inspects all equipment when moved to a new trailer (see Service Manager for checklist). Checks vehicle when a new one is assigned (see Service Manager for checklist).
Responsible for knowing and following all company and department policies and protocols, including the PTO policy.
Attend required department meetings and company or vendor training as required.
Your readiness to work on Saturday is obligatory when work is not completed during normal work days.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.
Previous Lawn Maintenance experience preferred (1-3 years minimum)
Excellent communication & customer service skills.
Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure and still maintain good composure.

High school diploma or GED desired.

You'll call upcoming customers on your way to the job alerting them that you're on the way.
You'll meet customers face to face (if they're home) before your crew begins its work to ensure we're meeting the customer's expectations on the job that day.
Upon inspection, you may suggest other services the customer may consider that you feel may be appropriate.
When the work is complete, you'll complete a post-job inspection and meet again with the customer (if they're home) to review the work to their satisfaction.
You'll accept and process the customer's payment through our mobile payment technology completing the job.
You'll end your day back at the Shine office to recap the day, ensuring your vehicle is clean and ready for the next day's work.
Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. May work occasionally on a Saturday during the holiday season.

- Share task with crews, keep project on
schedule, and interpret design. Crew lead is responsible for
ordering material for particular days through the Project
Manager or plan to send a crew member to pick up.
Communication
- Communicate clearly with the status of jobs
and needs to complete work. Create task schedule for entire
project to report back to Project manager.
Site and shop management:
Keep site and shop tidy. Set high
standards of cleanliness and tool care.
Check in with project manager to report where everyone is going
for the day, and see if there have been any changes on the project.
Review deliveries needed in the next few days. Check in on project
management tool to know all tasks for the day.
One crew lead will help load all trucks. Use SOP as guide for load
up. Help crews load trucks with tools for the job. Prevent the need
to return to shop after we have left shop.
Tell all crew members their work site for the day and update if any
changes are needed. Leave shop by 7:45 at latest.
Once at job site
Quickly walk site as crew unloads truck. Ensure tasks can be
completed without issues. Take photos and update to project
management tool. Report any unexpected issues.
Report on Job Log: who is present, weather/site conditions. Late
deliveries, sickness, etc. (report to clients additionally.)
Report Receipts: Write Job names and take photos of every receipt
and update PM tool (DO NOT SHARE WITH CLIENT).
Ask crew and take note of any material needed for next day. If we
need to go to Home Depot etc., then tell PM before noon the day
before. If it is not critical that day then identify it as not needed
immediately.
check in with each group working on a task to see their status, if
they are running on time or late. Give the PM an update if things
are moving too slow or too fast (additional tasks needed)
30 Minutes Before Quitting Time
Photos of completed tasks taken and uploaded to PM tool and
shared with client.
Mark task complete and/or percentage complete on CC.
Begin assigning people to clean up tasks (I.e. trash detail, power
tool detail, hand tool detail)
Back at shop
Stop at dumpster on the way in to dump trash. Direct crew to
unload tools. Ensure they cleaned up everything before they can
leave unless they ask permission to leave early for specific reason.
Last thing….
See the trees from the forest: assign each crew member their
tasks for the day. Make sure they understand the tasks and provide
SOP, then entrust them to complete the tasks in specific amount of
time. Let them know the timeframe. We can trust our people once
they know what is expected of them.

About this Role
Substation Foreman at Irby Construction Company shall possess a minimum of one (4) years of experience in a Journeymen electrical role. Substation, Commercial, or Industrial construction Journeymen electrical experience is a plus. Journeymen electricians must have a valid journeymen electrician card or be able to pass the Journeymen electricians test per government standards. The individual will possess all of the skills required for assignment from the foreman for complete electrical installations. What You'll Do

Lifting, placing & installing substation equipment such as breakers, metering, transformers, arrestors etc.
Moving and pulling control cable to medium voltage cable
Placing finish stone and smoothing out the yard
Job Specific Duties
Being able to read and understand control cable schedules from the client.
Ability to ensure that conduit sizes are correct for control cable pulls and installation techniques.
Have the knowledge or ability to read P&C prints for proper termination of multiple conductor control cables up to 12/C #12 all the way down to 1/C 4/0 cables.
Have the knowledge or ability to learn medium voltage terminations up to 34.5kv terminations.
Irby does offer medium voltage termination training and certification.
Knowledge base to understand DC systems as well as AC systems.
Supplying insight on project construction as far a control cable pulling, installation and termination.
Ability & skill set to work in energized panels
Knowledge of electrical, below grade or concrete foundation trade a plus.
High Voltage Substation construction knowledge or experience a plus.
Accountable for quality of work to ensure that it is being performed according to specifications.

Verifies property address/location before services has begun.
Reads all notes added to route to make sure that additional and special instructions are followed. Ensures mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and all other lawn maintenance work is done in a professional manner.
Must be proficient in the operation of all lawn maintenance equipment and becomes proficient in all new equipment needed for lawn maintenance.
Instructs crew members in the proper way of handling mowing equipment, and safety procedures in handling that equipment.
Directs workflow and work performed by other members of the crew. Becomes familiar with customers' expectations and service contracts.
Greases and oils machines and equipment, checks blades for replacement or sharpens, reports any malfunctions for repair and ensures that all equipment needed for work is loaded and working properly.
Ensures trailer lights are working properly, including trailer gate, boards, safety clips, reports any malfunctions for repair.
Identifies and reports to Service Manager any damages to customer's property immediately. Before leaving customer's property inspects the work area to ensure all maintenance was provided according to contracted services.
Uses personal protective equipment at all times as is required by safety standards and for prevention purposes.
Meets deadlines of route and informs Service Manager of all resets and skipped services or not completed work on a daily basis.
Inspects all equipment when moved to a new trailer (see Service Manager for checklist). Checks vehicle when a new one is assigned (see Service Manager for checklist).
Responsible for knowing and following all company and department policies and protocols, including the PTO policy.
Attend required department meetings and company or vendor training as required.
Your readiness to work on Saturday is obligatory when work is not completed during normal work days.
