Summary: The Landscape Irrigation Installation Crew Leader is responsible for the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of irrigation systems for residential, commercial, and public landscape projects. The technician works closely with project managers, landscape crews, and clients to ensure efficient, high-quality irrigation systems that promote healthy landscapes and water conservation. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret irrigation plans, blueprints, and site drawings. Install irrigation systems, including main and lateral lines, valves, sprinklers, drip systems, controllers, and backflow prevention devices. Perform trenching, pipe laying, wiring, and all aspects of irrigation system installation. Ensure all systems are properly connected and tested for coverage, leaks, and proper function. Program and set up irrigation timers and controllers. Troubleshoot and repair issues with existing irrigation systems when needed.
