Successfully execute seasonal operations calendar Routinely monitor sites for quality and follow up with crews on performance improvements. Communicate continuing concerns to area manager Conduct and oversee execution of minor Enhancement projects performed at the crew level Complete daily paperwork timely and accurately Assess equipment operation issues and effectively communicate repair needs to shop personnel Supervise safe loading and unloading of equipment Assist Area Manager with initial and on-going training of crews, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of landscape maintenance tasks that leads to excellent performance and opportunities for Gardener/Sr. Gardener promotion Assess skill level and work behavior of employees and provide recommendations to Area Manager regarding professional development, performance evaluation and promotional opportunities Ensure adherence to company policies Develop and maintain a positive work relationship with Area Manager, peers, and subordinates Perform minor irrigation repairs and maintenance, including setting and adjusting clocks and controllers Encourage and maintain safe working conditions by promoting Company s Culture of Safety , including but not limited to reinforcing bi-weekly safety tailgate meetings and ensuring proper personal protective equipment usage Perform minor in-field maintenance and repairs of equipment Communicate when budgeted hours are not aligned with actual hours required to perform work Total Rewards At Monarch, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage, and retain top talent.
