This role directs daily activities, coordinates with trade partners, and communicates project requirements to the team. The Drywall/Framing Foreman monitors progress, enforces safety and compliance standards, resolves field issues, and supports the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in achieving project goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supervise and lead field crews on steel stud framing and drywall projects to complete assigned construction tasks Plan, assign, and monitor daily work to ensure it aligns with project schedules and quality standards Read and interpret construction drawings (architectural, structural, MEP, civil, etc.) and communicate requirements clearly to the crew Generate, submit, and track RFIs based on field conditions, constructability issues, and coordination conflicts Perform material take-offs from drawings to support field ordering, installation sequencing, and work planning Prepare accurate daily reports, including completed work, site conditions, labor hours Perform exterior and interior layout to ensure plans are executed correctly in the field Utilize Procore and Bluebeam for document control, coordination, and reporting Coordinate work with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to maintain workflow and avoid conflicts Enforce adherence to safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies Conduct daily safety checks and provide training or guidance to crew members as needed Monitor productivity, quality of work, and material usage, reporting progress to the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent Assist with inspections, punch lists, and ensuring work is ready for approvals Help resolve field issues and support problem-solving to maintain project momentum Document daily jobsite activities, conditions, and incidents as required Perform other duties as assigned to support field operations and project success SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES The Drywall/Framing Foreman works under the direction of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. This role provides direct supervision to field crews, including carpenters and laborers, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include assigning daily tasks, monitoring performance, providing on-the-job guidance and training, enforcing company policies and safety regulations, and coordinating with subcontractors and other trades to support overall project success. QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience as a Drywall/Framing Foreman on commercial projects in structural and non-structural steel stud framing and drywall required Must have experience and in-depth knowledge of steel stud framing In-depth commercial construction knowledge specifically within both drywall systems and steel stud framing, including load-bearing and non-load-bearing assemblies Prior experience as a lead carpenter or laborer Experience in ground-up, TI, or large-scale commercial projects Familiarity with regulatory construction standards Must have a clean driving record CERTIFICATIONS OSHA 30 preferred First Aid and CPR SKILLS Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Project Bluebeam and Procore required Strong ability to read and interpret plans Knowledge of construction methods and best practices Ability to apply concepts of basic geometry Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve field issues quickly Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists Excellent written and verbal skills High attention to detail

Responsibilities Working with a Superintendent and teammates, apply your skills effectively to get work done efficiently, safely and correctly. Work in your specialty area but be willing and able to contribute any work that helps drive project success. Travel across the US to do work. We travel on 3-week on, 1-week off or 5-day on, 2-day off schedules depending on the location of the crew member and the work. Learn and apply new skills so you can do more: machines, soils technology, specialty techniques, leadership and problem-solving principles. Qualifications 3+ years of geotechnical or civil construction experience Heavy equipment operation experience (skid steer, excavator, concrete/grout pump, etc.) Equipment cleanup and maintenance. Experience with casing, rock drilling or similar. Experience with Shotcrete. At least one year of traveling construction labor experience. At least one year of working outside in all conditions.
