Highway Operations Tech 2: $22.45/hr. Grade 18
Highway Operations Tech 2 is the entry journey classification for the series. Responsible for performing a broad scope of intermediate level highway operational duties and/or lead responsibilities. Production/Management
Inspect route sheet and work orders daily for any additions, deletions, changes in service, or client requests:
Prepare, load, and secure all necessary equipment.
Perform a thorough inspection of truck and trailer prior to leaving the yard:
Report any issues to Assistant Maintenance Division Manager
Drive truck and trailer to and from all sites in a safe manner.
Accurately fill out start and stop times at all sites throughout the day:
Assign all tasks to crewmen at each individual site to complete jobs within the given time frame:
Do a final walk through of each and every property to ensure property is left in a professional and quality condition.
Fuel all equipment at the end of the day.
Report customers' comments and complaints immediately to Assistant Maintenance Division Manager.
Report all damaged or broken tools, equipment, or customer property to the Assistant Maintenance Division Manager.
Participate in snow removal in the winter season.

Design/Build Project Crew will report to the Install Lead/Foreperson. Minimum of 3 years related experience as a foreman for industrial fencing
Union Member (or willingness to become union)
Minimum of 3 years working in and around live substations
Ability to use computers and phones for timesheets and other reports
Knowledge of installing slide gates, gate operators and their accessories
Concrete forming experience for large foundations
Substation entry trained or badged
Licenses/Certifications/Prerequisites
Valid Driver's License required. CDL License is not required but preferred. CDL Training can be provided.
OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure.
Manage a team of technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Review project plans and specifications to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and project management, to ensure work meets project goals and timelines.
Develop and maintain safety procedures and protocols for the team.
Conduct safety meetings and training for team members.
Monitor and report on project progress and budget to upper management.
Identify and report any safety hazards or code violations.
Maintain inventory of equipment and materials, ordering new supplies as needed.

Requirements
