A service foreman is responsible to conduct the field operations of the maintenance and repair division in a field leadership role while using the latest up to date electronic technology to communicate with customers as well as our office. Install, repair, or replace a variety of roof system as instructed using specialty tools as necessary

Pre-plan job requirements with the project manager, general superintendent, purchasing, fabrication shop and construction supervisor
Expected to participate in the MTech University education process by teaching and/or preparing classes, when needed
Manage material storage, staging, delivery and security
Provide and schedule delivery of tools necessary to perform work including rentals of specialty tools, unloading equipment, scaffolding, manlifts, etc. Responsible for monthly tracking of company assets and submitting tool reports.
Read and understand blueprints, CAD drawings, isometrics, equipment specifications, job specifications, equipment submittals, schedules and other construction and equipment related information.
Continually collaborating with CAD department until final coordination drawings are complete.
Working with prefabrication shop manager in scheduling work as well as looking for new opportunity's to utilize the shops.
Must be able to visualize, anticipate and organize the construction sequence and flow using design information and experience.
Establish personnel rules and expectations and arrange facilities for breaks.
Responsible with all team members for assuring that project is kept within budget and on time. Understand and know how to read variance reports to manage project budget.
Maintain a clean, orderly and organized work site.
Coordinate installation with other tradesmen, the General Contractor and the client.
Participate in hands on completion of piping and sheet metal assignments whenever possible.
Maintain current understanding and knowledge of building codes and regulation governing inspections and construction practices. Coordinate inspections.
Coordinate, schedule and manage system and equipment start-up with internal and external clients.
Develop final turnover package for client and their maintenance staff including training where necessary. Keep and maintain updated as-builts

Qualifications
High school graduate/GED with appropriate 4 year apprenticeship certificate
A minimum of 4 years field experience
Working knowledge of all relevant national and local codes and company and industry standards.

Must be approved to drive per MTech's driving standards
Strong organizational and leadership skills and experience required.
Proven abilities in pipefitting, plumbing, and/or sheet metal, service or system functionality experience required.
Journeyman supervisory certificate or master service technician designation as necessary. May also require other competency certification as necessary and/or required by MTech, clients or code jurisdiction. Examples are Journeyman certification for Denver City/County, Supervisory certification for Aurora and Master Service Technician for MTech.

The Mitigation Foreman reports to the Area Manager for their location. Mitigation Managers help the victims of disasters such as fire, flood, mold, or other events by overseeing mitigation technicians, assessing and cleaning damaged properties, repairing and installing new materials, and restoring people's homes or businesses.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Mitigation Management
• Managing Water Technicians
• Coordinate after-hours emergency services, including:
• Board-ups
• Water damage
• Fire and smoke damage
• Vandalism
• Participate in development of water damage scopes of work
• Determining water category and class
• Equipment specification and sizing
• Moisture mapping
• Use of IR cameras and moisture instruments
• Review Paperwork for accuracy
• Order materials for job
• Keep equipment stocked and in working order
• Scheduling Subcontractors, answering questions
Mitigation Repairs
• Controlled demolition
• Baseboard & carpet cushion removal
• Carpet seam cutting
• Removing and disposing of debris
• Water pumping and extraction
• Mold remediation
• Specialty drying (hardwood, plaster, etc.)
• Vapor Barrier
• Setting drying equipment
• Constructing polyethylene enclosures
• Containment construction and maintenance
Property Contents
• Contents Manipulation
• Moving and Resetting Contents
Additional Responsibilities:
• Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, and insurance companies to ensure issues are dealt
with quickly and effectively.
• Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
• Maintaining vehicles in clean serviceable condition
• Residential, Commercial, and Multi-Family Reconstruction Projects
• Complete accident, injury, & incident reporting forms
• Maintaining equipment
• Other duties as assigned
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The
employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles;
toxic or caustic chemicals; and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. May be required to operate in close quarters, crawl spaces, small rooms, and narrow aisles and passageways.
Physical Requirements:
• Move and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
• Climb, crawl, stand, stoop, kneel, move/traverse, bend and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time
• Operate hand and electric tools
• Pass a respirator fit test and be able to wear and work
in a respirator (full-face or half-face)
