POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY The O&M Foreman is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by planning, organizing, and executing the day-to-day onsite operations and maintenance (O&M) of the project. LOCATION This position is based in Lake Charles, LA. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Subject Matter Expert (SME) for onsite O&M activities. Supports and aids with O&M subcontractors onsite. Oversee the daily operations and maintenance activities, ensuring they are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with standards and regulations. Maintain daily operational logs to meet O&M activities to ensure compliance with the contractual agreement. Assistance with the preparation of the O&M reports for Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development (LADOTD) and the Developer. Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints. Use gauge and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. Use precision tools, machinery, and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches and a variety of cutting tools and equipment. Fabricates and shapes parts such as tools and machine parts out of metal, plastics, and composites.
