ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Lead and direct field crews in vegetation management operations, including invasive plant identification, assessment, and treatment. Conduct safety meetings, enforce PPE usage, and ensure adherence to all safety protocols. Coordinate with project managers, landowners, and agencies to plan and execute vegetation management tasks. Maintain accurate records of treatment areas, herbicide usage, and crew productivity. Oversee equipment inventory, maintenance, and readiness for field operations. Coordinate and book travel logistics for field assignments, including lodging and scheduling. Perform tree and brush inventories, hazard tree inspections, and lidar-based assessments.
