Key Responsibilities * Lead and supervise crews daily with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. * Review project files, shop drawings, scope of work, and labor/material budgets with management. * Ensure proper safety plans are in place, conduct toolbox talks and safety huddles, and enforce OSHA compliance. * Monitor and maintain job site cleanliness, housekeeping, and equipment functionality. * Oversee delivery, storage, and use of materials; verify materials against purchase orders. * Install, repair, or replace commercial roofing systems using TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified plastics, elastomeric, and asphaltic compositions. * Cut, shape, and install insulation, edge metal, flashing, gutters, curbs, and other roofing components. * Ensure waterproofing and quality control standards are met, including watertightness and final punch list completion. * Prepare and submit daily job reports, timesheets, and requisitions; communicate technical questions and field progress. * Train, supervise, and coach crew members and subcontractors to achieve production and quality goals. * Meet with GCs and customers as needed to maintain strong project relationships. * Attend coordination and planning meetings with management. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Strong knowledge of roofing systems and installation methods, including TPO, EPDM, PVC, edge metals, flashing, coping, gutters, and waterproofing systems. * Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, roof layouts, and construction documents. * Proficiency in material calculations, stretch outs, and labor projections. * Skilled in operating roofing tools and equipment; knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures. * Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. * Ability to organize, plan, and execute work assignments while solving problems effectively. * Competency in completing and submitting required paperwork accurately and on time. * Familiarity with safety planning, OSHA compliance, and job-site risk management. Qualifications * Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing experience (Foreman or Lead preferred). * Proven experience managing and training crews in roofing installations. * Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. * Manufacturer certifications a plus (training will be provided). * Ability to meet the physical demands of roofing work, including lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in various conditions.
