Crew Leads guide environmental restoration projects throughout the Puget Sound region (in urban, suburban, and rural settings). The Crew Lead is responsible for: project coordination between land management agencies, EarthCorps project managers, and 5-6 Crew Members; facilitation of crew safety and well-being, productivity, morale and quality of work; and Crew Member training and education in the field. In addition to impactful service, Crewleaders will grow professionally and personally through training, engaging with environmental agencies, collaborating with staff, providing feedback, and practicing structured reflection. Crewleaders learn values-driven team building and leadership skills as they work on bridging a wide range of lived experiences and backgrounds, their cross-cultural communication skills, and conflict resolution management. What You'll Do * Install, terminate, splice, test, certify, and document coax cabling in both inside and outside plant environments. * Perform coax splicing with precision, accuracy, and strong attention to detail. * Read, interpret, and work from complex prints, splicing diagrams, and equipment layouts. * Support customers and project teams while maintaining Cannon's high standards of quality and service. * Follow all safety procedures and ensure appropriate safety equipment is used at all times. * Perform coax maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. What We're Looking For AKA Required Experience & Qualifications * 7+ years of direct experience in the telecommunications field. * Strong background in coax cabling, terminating, and testing. * Ability to distinguish varying cable types. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. * Willingness to work flexible hours-days, nights, or both. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivated. • Must be willing to travel as required. * This is a Safety-Sensitive Position. * Telecom certifications are a huge plus (BICSI, FOA, etc.). Additional Requirements * Reliable transportation. * Ability to obtain a medical certificate for driving commercial vehicles. * Prevailing wages are not guaranteed.
