Responsabilidades: · Retiro y instalacion de todo tipo de sistemas de techos comerciales, incluidos: BUR, Betun modificaso, TPO, EPDM, PVC y sistemas de techos metalicos inclinados. · Mantenimiento y reparacion de techos. · Realizar el trabajo de acuerdo con las especificaciones del trabajo y las pautas de seguridad. · Mantener una interaccion profesional con todos los clients. · Administrar el equipo de techado comercial, include completer el papeleo requerido, asistir a las reuniones segun sea necesario, ayudar en la capacitacion de los miembros del equipo segun sea necesario. Requisitos del capataz del servicio de techado comercial: · Debe tener al menos 18 años · Mas de 2 años de experiencia liderando equipos comerciales de techado · Una licencia de conducir valida · Debe ser bilingue, ingles y español · Debe poder levantar mas de 50 libras regularmente. · Debe ser capaz de trabajar a diferentes alturas y durante una variedad de condiciones climaticas. · Habilidad para conmunicarse bien con clients, supervisor y compañeros de trabajo. · Inciativa, integridad y adptabilidad · Experto en tecnologia Las condiciones de trabajo: · Entorno fisico: Entorno de campo con exposicion a alturas, ruido y temperaturas · Esfuerzo fisico: Estar de pie mucho tiempo, caminar, subir una escalera. JOB IDENTIFICATION Job Title: Landscape Maintenance Crew - Seasonal Grade: IV FLSA: Non-Exempt Department: Parks & Planning SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS Reports to: Landscape Maintenance Supervisor Supervises: N/A BASIC FUNCTION Landscape maintenance staff ensures that the park grounds, athletic fields and garden plots are kept clean, attractive and safe throughout the summer season. This position works in the early morning and weekends. Seasonal (Memorial Day - Labor Day) ESSENTIAL DUTIES Maintains turf areas including mowing and trimming. Inspects parks, cleans up debris. Install and maintain landscape material such as flowers, trees, shrubs, grass, etc. Prune hedges and trees. Assists in landscape construction projects. Inspects, cleans, maintain and performs routine maintenance on related equipment. Cleans buildings and restrooms as needed. Performs safety inspections and repairs on athletic fields and parks. Constructs and performs daily maintenance on athletic fields. Performs support services at Park District and community events. Operates District vehicles and equipment. OTHER DUTIES Assist administrative staff with special maintenance requests. May be required to perform overtime work as requested or required, including weekends. Provides polite customer service to any park users if approached. Follow all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Park District Safety and Crisis Manuals Coordinates activities to successfully collaborate with district staff performing maintenance in the same area. Perform additional duties as assigned. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: High School Diploma Preferred Experience: Related experience preferred Must be at least 18 years of age. Certifications: Valid Illinois Driver's License required.
