This role REQUIRES a Driver's license. Candidates without a Driver's license will be moved to another open position that does not require one or rejected if no openings would qualify. Candidates with a Chauffeur's license will take priority over all other Candidates.
Here's what you'd do:
You'd flex your leadership skills, directing the work of 2-5 team members. You'd ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Our crewleaders oversee crews in varying service lines, including basic maintenance, landscape installation, and supportive services like irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications.
You'd be responsible for:
Performance & Quality:
Overseeing day-to-day site operations and delegating work to crew members
Maintaining a schedule, and ensuring service expectations are met
Identifying more efficient ways to perform work
* Client Satisfaction:
* Surfacing client concerns to the Production Manager and proactively assisting in achieving a resolution
Crew Management:
Providing the Production Manager with feedback on crew members
Assisting the Production Manager in the development and training of crew members
Turning in accurate crew time logs
Safety:
Ensuring all crew members perform their work safely and in accordance with company policies
Ensuring equipment is in good working order and receives appropriate preventative maintenance
Logging equipment usage and maintenance cycles

Key Responsibilities

Education:

Summary
This position consists of leading a crew of finishers or masons and laborers performing tasks involving installations of masonry and concrete products on commercial, agricultural and industrial sites to meet and exceed industry standards. Foreman is expected to perform the following - building layout, install footings, poured and masonry walls, perform any masonry work from toothing to cutting out and soaping back in, flatwork from paving to high level finished floors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership / Management
Maintain safety, schedule, labor and budget on self-perform masonry & concrete work.
Manage and work on a crew performing all the tasks listed below.
Perform concrete preparation and finish work on commercial and industrial buildings.
Lay out and print reading
Form and pour strip and pad footings.
Form and pour wall foundations using primarily Symons forms and lumber.
Prepare for pouring concrete including fine grading, placing reinforcing steel and setting trench drains and bollards.
Pour floors with pump trucks, buggies, screeds, floats and trowels.
Cut and seal floors after pours
Demolition of existing concrete.
Patch and repair concrete surfaces in preparation for floor coverings.
Lay, core-fill demo and infill masonry
Install flashings, weeps and control joints to specifications
Haul demo materials to dumpster.
Unload materials and store efficiently onsite.
Maintain a clean safe jobsite.
Keep work areas supplied with materials and clear of construction debris.
Perform other related duties as required.

Previous leadership experience
High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
5 years previous masonry & concrete experience.
Willing to travel minimally

What You Can Expect:
Execute Construction General Labor duties Learn our business and grow your career
Organize, carry and load heavy (up to 50lbs) job materials. Perform set-up and clean-up tasks on the job site.
Dig and back-fill trenches/holes.
Make repairs in crawl spaces (confined spaces), basements, and around home foundations.
Perform work duties while exposed to the outdoor elements: extreme heat, extreme cold, rainy weather, etc.
Valid driver's license preferred - required for promotion.

Monster Tree Service of Minneapolis has an opportunity for an experienced Crew Lead. Responsibilities:
Supervises tree crew while performing residential and commercial tree pruning and removals by ANSI and company standards.
Operate an aerial lift and/or a bucket truck when necessary.
Possess the necessary rigging and lowering skills to perform tree pruning and removals safely. Perform supplemental support (cabling and bracing) techniques and methods in accordance with ANSI Standards.
Must be familiar with industry safety standards and procedures and is willing to enforce these standards as well as company safety policies.
Must be willing to accept and be responsible for daily production goals and safety procedures of the crew.
Coordinate with the Sales Arborist before performing work.
Qualifications:
3 years or more of experience leading and training a tree crew safely and productively
ISA Certification or CTSP is desired but not required
A clean/valid Driver's License required
Excellent communication and leadership skills, prior experience training employees is preferred
Can identify and communicate to the property owner potential up-sell opportunities.
Presents a professional appearance and attitude
Excellent customer service skills
