ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Lead and direct field crews in vegetation management operations, including invasive plant identification, assessment, and treatment.
Apply herbicide treatments safely and effectively, maintaining compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
Conduct safety meetings, enforce PPE usage, and ensure adherence to all safety protocols.
Coordinate with project managers, landowners, and agencies to plan and execute vegetation management tasks.
Maintain accurate records of treatment areas, herbicide usage, and crew productivity.
Oversee equipment inventory, maintenance, and readiness for field operations.
Coordinate and book travel logistics for field assignments, including lodging and scheduling.
Perform tree and brush inventories, hazard tree inspections, and lidar-based assessments.
Communicate with property owners and public agencies regarding vegetation work, including pruning and removals.
Plan and coordinate work for tree contractors and manage field data collection and reporting.
Participate in emergency response efforts and support utility vegetation management across diverse terrain.
Ensure all work complies with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.

About this Role
FiberTel is looking for an Aerial Foreman for our Springville, UT location.
The Aerial Foreman position will oversee a crew of employees depending on job type and size. This position will coordinate with the Field Supervisor on lining out daily jobs. She/he will oversee installations, ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools, assess install sites, and prepare install diagrams. The Foreman will teach, and train employees assigned to their crew. This position will guarantee that all safety protocols are followed, and crew members wear proper PPE.
Services may include placing poles, anchors and guys, aerial strand and cable, direct buried pipe, trenching cable, conventional and directional boring, placing underground conduit systems, performing inside wiring, cabling, and testing and maintenance services.

What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
All phases of telecommunication construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.
* Ensure crew is on time and performing daily tasks
* Plan & Strategize with crew, set goals for job completions
* Perform daily pre-trip, JHA, and monthly safety lessons
* Maintain professionalism with public, customers, and crew
* Obtain prints & permits for all assigned jobs from Supervisor

What You'll Bring
Qualifications:
* 3 - 5 years' experience in Aerial telecommunications industry

Roles & Responsibilities
* Plan and direct operations in coordination with the Plant Manager and Operations coordinator.
* Review daily equipment inspection reports and respond accordingly.
* Monitor all plant personnel to make sure all training, safety, production and staffing needs are being met.
