Other requirements include talking, hearing, depth perception, manual dexterity, and a wide field of vision. Candidates must be able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds. Work Environment The physical demands of this position include being exposed to various outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and humidity. You will encounter fluctuating weather patterns and work in both wet and dry environments. This role also involves frequent exposure to high noise levels from equipment and machinery, as well as vibrations from the use of power tools. Additional environmental exposures include: Proximity to moving mechanical parts, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment. Potential exposure to electrical hazards, particularly when working near or with electrical systems (e.g., lighting or irrigation systems). Atmospheric conditions, such as dust, pollen, and fumes from machinery, fertilizers, or chemicals, requiring proper safety measures. Risk of electrical shock when using certain power tools or working around electrical systems. Working on or near wet, slippery surfaces, or uneven terrain, which may increase the risk of slips and falls.
