The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; as well as other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $23 to $28 hourly/annually. Hours of position are 6 am to 6:30 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Performs a full range of rough grinding, polishing and metal finishing operations on components, manufactured parts and assemblies in accordance with prescribed specifications.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Follow safe work practices and OSHA requirements.
Grinds, files, or sands surfaces of metal items using hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of metal finishing techniques: Examines and feels surface of metal to detect defects, such as dents, scratches, or material defects.
Use a variety of hand tools and manual techniques to smooth surfaces to grind and blend to specified finish.
Ability able to set-up and operate straight-line sanders, buffers, timesavers, and hand-held grinders and polishers.
Complete projects within established guidelines and time frames according to our quality standards.
May utilize blueprints to perform job.
Read and understand written or verbal work instructions to complete tasks.
Understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
Work in a team environment.
Monitor quality of goods produced.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ENTRY:
High School Diploma/GED, 2+ years in manufacturing industry, preferred.
A high level of attention to detail is a must as aesthetic appearance is critical.
Must be able to select the proper abrasives for each application to achieve the specified finish using the most efficient process.
Must have good dexterity and hand eye coordination.
Must be comfortable bending, squatting, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling.
Ability to use profilometers and other measuring tools.
Good verbal and written communication
Must be reliable and punctual.

* Able to drop trees, know when to use ropes for take down and identify potential need to use spikes.

The Opportunity
As a Vegetation Management Crew Leader, you'll serve as the go-to field lead on restoration and invasive species management projects. While not a formal supervisor, you'll help direct day-to-day work, provide guidance to your crew, and make sure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to project specs.
You'll work closely with your Site Manager to bridge field execution with project planning. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be out in the field leading by example-while also helping teammates improve their skills and stay aligned on project goals.
What You Will Do
Lead On-Site Execution: Serve as the point person in the field, ensuring crews are aligned, equipped, and executing vegetation management work according to plan and customer specs.
Guide and Support Technicians: Provide direction and mentorship to new or less experienced field staff, helping uphold safety, quality, and work ethic expectations.
Perform Vegetation Management Work: Use a range of mechanical and chemical control methods including herbicide application, weed whipping, brush cutting, and hand weeding.
Operate Equipment: Safely run equipment such as backpack sprayers, chainsaws, weed whips, UTVs/ATVs, and small engines.
Track and Report Work: Maintain accurate field documentation including daily work logs and herbicide application records.
Communicate with Site Leadership: Relay field updates, flag issues, and help troubleshoot with your Site Manager.
What You Will Need to Be Successful
2+ years of experience in vegetation management, including herbicide application and plant identification.
Previous field leadership or "lead worker" experience on crews or teams.
Familiarity with vegetation management tools and machinery (weed whips, backpack sprayers, chainsaws, ATVs/UTVs, etc.).
Ability to read and follow maps and project plans in the field.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail-especially when coordinating with other staff or documenting work.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and comfort using mobile apps for data entry or tracking in project management and ERP systems.

Supervises tree crew while performing residential and commercial tree pruning and removals by ANSI and company standards.
Operate an aerial lift and/or a bucket truck when necessary.
Possess the necessary rigging and lowering skills to perform tree pruning and removals safely. Perform supplemental support (cabling and bracing) techniques and methods in accordance with ANSI Standards.
Must be familiar with industry safety standards and procedures and is willing to enforce these standards as well as company safety policies.
Must be willing to accept and be responsible for daily production goals and safety procedures of the crew.
Coordinate with the Sales Arborist before performing work.
Qualifications:
3 years or more of experience leading and training a tree crew safely and productively
ISA Certification or CTSP is desired but not required
A clean/valid Driver's License required
Excellent communication and leadership skills, prior experience training employees is preferred
Can identify and communicate to the property owner potential up-sell opportunities.
Presents a professional appearance and attitude

Job Summary: Our Milling Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of an asphalt milling crew. This role ensures that milling operations are performed safely, efficiently, and to the specified depth and grade, supporting the paving process for roads, highways, and parking lots.

Job Duties & Requirements:

* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in milling or asphalt paving, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of milling equipment (Wirtgen, etc.) and processes.
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans, grades, and layouts.
* Familiar with DOT specifications and construction safety regulations.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred).
* Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
* Must be at least 18 years old
