Minimum Qualifications:
Four (4) or more years of experience in Commercial Roofing
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge of a variety of single ply roofing systems
Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations
Must be able to climb a ladder & work at heights; position may require lifting up to 80 lbs
Have a current and valid Drivers License
Current Driver's License with No Restrictions
Successfully Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
Essential Functions:
Review project plans with Superintendents at the start of each project
Provide leadership to the team during installation of quality roofing in a safe and efficient manner
Ensure your crew adheres to Company's safety and quality procedures and regulations, including OSHA & L& compliance
Communicate directions from Superintendents and PM to your crew
Inspect work performed and ensure installation guidelines have been followed according to manufacturer's requirements
Communicate progress of job and any issues to Superintendent
Responsible for job completion according to schedule
Responsible for paperwork completion and employee time entry

CDM Smith is looking for Inspectors to provide independent, professional construction inspection and oversight of Federal Construction Projects with agencies such as USACE, AFCEC, and NAVFAC. This is a pipeline requisition for future projects. The Construction Inspection Specialist documents inspection findings and communicates issues to project leadership. The role requires applying broad professional knowledge of construction practices to meet client needs, clearly communicating project progress and issues to diverse functional teams and project leadership, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully, safely, and in compliance with applicable requirements. Work is performed independently under limited supervision.
Job Duties:
- Conducts on-site inspections of construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects as well as related civil structures (roads, dams, bridges, facilities, utilities, etc.) to verify compliance with approved design specifications, industry standards, safety codes, and applicable federal regulations.
- Documents inspection results inclusive of deficiencies, deterioration, structural condition, deviations between design and execution of construction, required corrective actions and any needed sampling.
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and material certifications in coordination with engineers and project management teams.
- Monitors construction progress, prepares and maintains detailed daily reports, deficiency notices, project status reports, and technical recommendations.
- Inspects and verifies construction materials and testing processes (concrete breaks, compaction testing, welding/joint inspections, pressure testing, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Oversees and coordinates field construction related services on projects, enforcing adherence to safety, environmental, quality control, and permitting requirements
- Conducts site investigations, reviews relevant data including maps, reports, test results, drawings and others as required.
- Participates in pre-construction meetings, design reviews, technical assessments, safety meetings, and project closeout/punch list activities.
- Ensures compliance with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and delivers technical files and other technical documentation as required.

JOB SUMMARY
The Crew Leader directs and assists in daily housekeeping operations and floor management, including staff, equipment, and property to facilitate the fulfillment of financial goals and company initiatives. In addition, the Crew Leader assists in cultivating a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while ensuring all staff members perform at a consistently high level.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Maintain GSI Hospitality Standards
* Supervise the housekeeping staff.
* Ensure complete guest satisfaction at all times. Handle guests' complaints and solve them according to customer service standards.
* Monitor and supervise set up and maintenance of assigned area of facility to ensure quality standards. Monitor and assist in requisitioning linen use and housekeeping supplies; care of furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
* Assist in recruiting, supervising, training, scheduling, disciplining, reviewing, and directing the housekeepers. Assist in payroll procedures in submitting time and controlling labor costs.
* Assist housekeepers as needed.
* Maintain and ensure safe facility environment including standards for maintenance and upkeep of unit's equipment, food production and handling, cooking, housekeeping, sanitation, dress, and employee hygiene. Notify General Manager/AGM of all unusual events, circumstances, or other safety or quality control issues.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
* High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
* Working knowledge of approved housekeeping methods and cleaning techniques.
* Computer proficiency is a plus.
* Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people and maintain a high level of guest service.
* Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to work well as a team leader; ability to problem-solve.
* Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Return all builder and customer calls in a timely manner, informing RNC coordinator of any schedule changes, change orders, field directives etc. as necessary
• Maintains the highest level of standards for time management and quality completions.
• Ensures material inventory and maintenance for vehicles is completed to company requirements.
• Knowledge of pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, department operating procedures and safety regulations sufficient to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law.
• Designs, fabricates and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required.
• Work in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring “more than satisfied customers.”
• Maintain a neat work area and inspect that area for cleanliness after completion of each job.
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving.
• Maintain company vehicle, ensuring that it is clean on both the inside and the outside at all times.

• Assist with creating the departments training calendar, ensure that all installers meet the company's and departments qualifications in customer service skills as well as technically

• Continue to develop and implement labor saving installation practices, challenging others within the department and company to do the same.

Performance Indicators: Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of a RNC Foreman including:
• Degree to which Labor Management principles are utilized
• Contract performance, how many hours incurred, compared to the amount of hours estimated.
• Degree to which installers and the department in general improves' in ability and in efficiency
• Jobs are started without a three-day lead time in the staging and ordering process
• Degree to which annual, quarterly, monthly department goals are reached
• Timely response to customer concerns and phone calls
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• High school or equivalent required, HVAC Trade school certificate a plus
• 06A Electrical License
• City of Spokane Gas License I or II
• Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.

• Effective customer service skills to communicate clearly, the ideas and explanations of problems, to customers and coworkers.
