Responsibilities:

• Ensure all equipment is functioning. Able to hydro blast utilizing a shotgun.
• Must have general knowledge of all Hydro Blast Pumps (10K, 20K, 40K)
• Must have general knowledge of Liquid Vacuum and Air Machine Trucks
• Load out hydro blast and vacuum truck jobs, i.e. be familiar with all pieces of equipment necessary to safely and effectively complete the required job scope.
• Inspect all aspects of work from the jobsite to equipment before commencing work
• Complete Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all applicable safety paperwork.
• Ensure OSHA Safety rules and regulations are followed consistently, report any issues, concern or incidents to management.
• Complete required documentation in a time manner and by required deadlines.
• Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc.
• Wash and clean company equipment - Pressure wash, clean cabs, etc.
• General housekeeping - sweep floors, take out trashes, and help keep work areas clean and organized.
• Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs - Return equipment and PPE back to designated areas.
• Perform Manual Labor to complete tasks associated with service lines performed by USA Debusk and assist to drive project deadlines.
Qualifications:

Position Summary:
The Packaging Crew Lead will effectively coordinate their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, ensuring product is developed successfully, and quality standards are met to meet the requirements of the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement proper procedures for the Packaging department.
Requires understanding of GMP's, HACCP and SQF guidelines.

Perform direct observations during production.
Conduct Safety/SQF monthly trainings.
Add/Create packaging department schedules to ensure that all products are packed and completed in a timely fashion.
Perform all supervisory functions during the absence of a supervisor.
Participate as a witness in the disciplinary process.
Analyze situations to provide solutions that are in the best interest of the company.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Monitor Packaging department employees' progress on assigned tasks.
Make decisions pertaining to production errors and deviations.
Maintain accurate inventory of rework, packaging material inventory update spreadsheet as needed.
Participate in the monthly inventory process.
Maintain a safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic: following standards and procedures: complying with legal regulations per all forklift operations.
Evaluate daily overhead to ensure that we have accurate staffing
Assign and provide direction on the daily tasks to other processing department employees.
Ensure that employees are abiding by all Carl Buddig and Company policies via the Employee Handbook and Safety Manual.
Train new and existing employees in the required job duties.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Department Manager and/or Supervisor.
Maintain work-area in a clean and sanitary manner.

Specific knowledge includes: TCIA CrewLeader Training Program, Crew Safety, Personal Safety, Hazard of Inexperience, and ability to check off levels equal and below.
What a day is like:
Daily focus is working together on a General Tree Care crew to provide high quality tree care to our clients. The Tree Care Team is involved in all aspects of pruning, removals, cable bracing and other concepts related to tree care. Team members are able to safely operate all equipment and perform the assigned job tasks while also providing excellent service to our clients.
What kind of person are we looking for? Someone with:
* Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
* Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each species' characteristics
* Ability to climb without spurs
* Experience with tree care safety standards
* Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
* Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck)
* Demonstrate additional competencies in all areas of knowledge for designated skill level.
* Communicate advanced understanding of all safety policies and procedures, including hazard tree identification.
* Utilize specialized equipment properly for climbing (ropes, saddle, ladders) along with all associated tools.
* Apply knowledge of branch collars and proper pruning cuts with total competence on chainsaw operations in small to medium difficulty (40-50') trees.
* Employ ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and Terminology and ANSI Z safety.
* Demonstrate knowledge of different tree species and different techniques necessary for climbing each tree including Oaks, Maples, Dogwoods, Apples (Crab vs. Regular), Hemlocks, Pines and Spruce.
* Complete work exhibiting ability to raise a ladder, throw a rope, and safe techniques to climb into a tree.
* Set up safely with proper placement of lowering lines in a strong enough crotch, know when to attach a tag line, and engage proper lowering techniques.
* Know when to double crotch and use other appropriate techniques when working in trees.
* Able to drop trees, know when to use ropes for take down and identify potential need to use spikes.
* Perform aerial rescue if needed.

BASIC FUNCTION
Landscape maintenance staff ensures that the park grounds, athletic fields and garden plots are kept clean, attractive and safe throughout the summer season. This position works in the early morning and weekends.
Seasonal (Memorial Day - Labor Day)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Maintains turf areas including mowing and trimming.
Inspects parks, cleans up debris.
Install and maintain landscape material such as flowers, trees, shrubs, grass, etc.
Prune hedges and trees.
Assists in landscape construction projects.
Inspects, cleans, maintain and performs routine maintenance on related equipment.
Cleans buildings and restrooms as needed.
Performs safety inspections and repairs on athletic fields and parks.
Constructs and performs daily maintenance on athletic fields.
Performs support services at Park District and community events.
Operates District vehicles and equipment.
OTHER DUTIES
Assist administrative staff with special maintenance requests.
May be required to perform overtime work as requested or required, including weekends.
Provides polite customer service to any park users if approached.
Follow all safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Park District Safety and Crisis Manuals
Coordinates activities to successfully collaborate with district staff performing maintenance in the same area.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma Preferred
Experience: Related experience preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Certifications: Valid Illinois Driver's License required.
