JOB TITLE:
Veterans Trail CrewLeader - Wyoming Conservation Corps - AmeriCorps
JOB PURPOSE:
Facilitate, Lead, and Engage in conservation projects across the state of Wyoming out in the field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The CrewLeader roles are half-time AmeriCorps positions. Leaders will co-lead a crew of 6 veteran members on ten-day, labor-intensive conservation projects around the state of Wyoming, living and working outdoors. Leaders will report to and take direction from the Program Coordinators. Activities will include, but are not limited to, project coordination with land management agency sponsors, camping, cooking, recreation, environmental education, and group learning programs.
Leaders will also participate in WCC member recruitment, equipment purchasing and maintenance, and program evaluation; autonomous decision making and working alone. CrewLeaders are responsible for documentation of crew activities and for the physical and emotional well-being of the crew. CrewLeaders are required to fulfill an hourly commitment each week and one weekend per month during the spring semester. This will include the upper-division WCC Leadership for Natural Resource Management class in which leaders will be enrolled through the Environment and Natural Resources program. CrewLeaders will participate in some volunteer recruitment activities as well as a variety of other trainings. Schedule for completion of hours will be flexible.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Other requirements:
Pass FBI background check.
Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.

Some prior Conservation work, or leadership experience.

Maintains vehicle, tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating

Performs a variety of maintenance activities (e.g. mowing, installing, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects within established time frames.
Repairs a variety of recreation program equipment for the purpose of ensuring operational condition of equipment.
Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.
Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at recreational program site.
Experience: Job related experience is desired.

Lewis & Lewis, a Summit Materials company, is looking for a Leadman/Leadperson to support our Aggregates division in Green River, Wyoming. This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to multiple hourly teammates engaged in safe, daily plant operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Plan and direct operations in coordination with the Plant Manager and Operations coordinator.
* Review daily equipment inspection reports and respond accordingly.
* Monitor all plant personnel to make sure all training, safety, production and staffing needs are being met.
* Complete daily production, safety and maintenance reports accurately
* Responsible for maintaining quality of all products
* Maintain housekeeping and appearance standards as established
* Assist with equipment repairs and housekeeping as needed
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
* Valid driver's license is required.
* MSHA certification preferred
* 1-2 years previous quarry/mining experience preferred
* 2 or more years of experience on plan maintenance/preventive maintenance.
* Experience leading a team
* Plant/Preventative maintenance safety preferred

DRC Field Crew Supervisor
Recreation Salary Schedule: Category C; step 1: $13.37
Purpose Statement: The job of Field Crew Supervisor is done for the purpose/s of providing maintenance services with specific responsibility for maintaining facilities in safe operating condition; addressing immediate operational and/or safety concerns; assisting skilled trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at job. Field Crew Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, organization, and supervision of field crew.
This job reports to Recreation Director.
Essential Function:
* Supervise field crew staff in preparation of pre-season, game day, post- game and post-season field maintenance duties.
* Assigns press box duties during weekend tournaments.
* Responsible for scheduling field crew staff.
* Assists skilled maintenance workers with projects (e.g. transporting and/or securing materials, completing specific tasks, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects in a safe, efficient manner.
* Coordinates with assigned supervisor (e.g. maintaining recreational fields including baseball fields, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
* Maintains vehicle, tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring availability in safe operating
* Participates in meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and gathering information required to perform functions.
* Performs a variety of maintenance activities (e.g. mowing, installing, etc.) for the purpose of completing projects within established time frames.
* Repairs a variety of recreation program equipment for the purpose of ensuring operational condition of equipment.
* Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.
* Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
* Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at recreational program site.
Experience: Job related experience is desired.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or current high school student.
