Kitchen Crew Responsibilities: As a Crew member, you will be afforded the opportunity to learn many different positions within the restaurant. Some of those positions may include: ● Loading - Fry Assembly Line Positions ● Takeout/Cashier Position ● Kitchen Position ● Food Prep Qualifications Proven working experience in food service industry a plus, but not required. Friendly with great customer service skills Basic mathematical skills Strong attention to detail Ability to listen and communicate effectively There are additional responsibilities associated with the opening and closing of the restaurant that a Crew member will be responsible for completely dependent upon work shift. Additional responsibilities of a crew member may include: -- Exposure to noise, heat, cold and other elements -- Cleaning duties (including washing dishes, trash take out, window cleaning, etc) -- Taking and fulfiling customer orders -- Bending, kneeling, lifting (up to approximately 50 pounds as necessary) -- Be active and standing for long periods without a break Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities. Physical Demands: The position's physical demands require work in a restaurant/kitchen environment with moderate to loud noise levels, varying temperature conditions and possible direct exposure to hazardous substances, such as hot oil. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to react quickly to deadlines, sometimes with little notice. The employee is often required to stand for long periods; walk, bend, kneel, and reach with hands boxes or food containers typically weighing 50 pounds or less, without restrictions.
