Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday Air Conditioned Warehouse ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned. * Ensure all required tooling, plates, cylinders, materials, dies, and accessories are staged on the set-up cart prior to press make-ready. * Mount printing plates as required per job specifications. * Organize and maintain the kitting area to support efficient set-up preparation. * Perform machine make-ready activities, including loading and removing print cylinders, materials, laminations, dies, scoring equipment, and related components in accordance with standard work procedures. * Assist Press Operators with the set-up and adjustment of auxiliary equipment. * Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to the designated preproduction areas after set-up completion. * Assist in other departments or production areas as needed. * Work collaboratively with Prepress and Production team members to support customer satisfaction, cost control, and on-time performance. Report any die wear or abnormalities to operator or supervisor. • Checks lube equipment prior to running job and lubes dies according to lube procedure on weight ticket/procedure sheet. • Centers material on press. • Blows scale off the blocking base and pot by using a blow pipe. • Sets the laydown machine in proper position prior to running the first piece. • Contacts heat treat personnel prior to running the first piece. • After extrusion is laid down, reads extrusion length from proper scale on the conveyor and record length on the check off sheet. • Performs stencil of hot material. • Assists with general cleanup of shop area. REQUIRED SKILLS: • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures. • Proficiency in basic mechanical tasks and equipment operation. • Attention to detail in verifying and documenting operational processes. • Strong communication skills to report abnormalities and collaborate effectively. • Capability to perform physical tasks involving standing, reaching, and lifting. • Capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment while maintaining safety standards. • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team. A strong background in metal fabrication techniques, including working with steel, aluminum, and brass, along with the ability to weld, is required. Prior experience with mold-making, casting, adhesives, acrylics, and epoxy resins used in mount production is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in project prioritization, with experience in project management and budget forecasting. The role requires a self- motivated individual who is comfortable working independently and capable of providing direction and overseeing others in executing large object handling and mounting tasks.
