**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Responds to actual or potential ground or flight emergencies to prevent or extinguish fires and rescue aircraft crew and passengers.
+ Operates and maintains aircraft rescue and fire fighting vehicles and equipment.
+ Prepositions emergency vehicles at the scene to apply extinguishing agents as necessary for fire control and/or facilitate self-evacuation of aircraft occupants.
+ Accomplishes Rescue Operations in the event of a mishap.
+ Performs standbys for aircraft operations, including engine runs, fueling and defueling, and all other related aircraft hazardous activities.
+ Personnel are required to meet IFSTA/ NFPA certification for ARFF vehicle operations, current ARFF standards including live Fire Training, CPR and First Aid, knowledge of firefighting principles, procedures and techniques.

Primary Level Salary Range: $43,100.00 - $71,900.00

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
