The Maajii-akii-gikenjigewin crew will work to conserve and restore rivers, wetlands, watersheds, forests, and other important ecosystems within the FDL reservation; expand access to the outdoors for FDL band members; engage Tribal youth in conservation work to prepare them for careers in natural resources; and support the conservation plans of FDL Resource Management, with a focus on locally led and designed conservation efforts that support and respect Tribal sovereignty and cultural knowledge. CurbSide is looking for dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Snow Walk Crew. Crew members will meet at our shop in Savage and ride out with Crew Leader in company trucks. Crew Members are responsible for clearing snow and ice from sidewalks, stairs, entryways, and other pedestrian areas during and after snow events. This is an on-call position dependent on weather conditions. Responsibilities: Shovel and remove snow from walkways, stairs, and building entrances Apply ice melt or sand as needed for safety Work efficiently as part of a team Respond promptly when called in during snow events, including early mornings, nights and weekends. Follow safety procedures and wear proper gear Qualifications Reliable transportation to job sites or meeting locations Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy, and icy conditions Punctuality and dependability Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods Previous snow removal experience is helpful but not required Pass pre-employment drug screening
