This role is paid based on the size of the solar install and the complexity of the electrical tie-in with bonuses based on quality and efficiency performance. Zeo compensates for efficient work done right the first time! Daily tasks involved: * Reading and interpreting electrical line diagrams in order to install electrical portion of residential solar installations per NEC 2020-2023 requirements. * Mounting the solar electrical equipment on the side of the home such as solar disconnects, interior load centers inside of finished or unfinished structures, and solar load center/combiners. Work requires proficiency in bending and installing EMT and running NM-B cable in tight spaces or attics. * Completing all electrical work for system tie-ins. Employee must be competent in working inside of live, residential electrical main service panels to perform supply side taps and back-fed breaker injections. * Potential interactions with customers to explain the electrical equipment and solar installation. * Inventory preparation and job site clean up. Requirements: * Experience working as an Electrician, preferably in residential solar. * Must be comfortable working at heights and have ability to climb ladders, stairs, and work on roofs. * Must be able to carry up to 60 pounds. * Must be able to follow OSHA safety guidelines. * Ability to work in various weather conditions/extreme environments (hot attics, wind, cold/icy weather, etc).
