All crew members directly affect the motor vehicle's operations by driving it and/or safely loading it. Morning: Upon timely arrival, assist the team leader in making sure all the DOT repairs and checkpoints were performed and the truck is ready to go. Check and load equipment (oil level, tire pressure, blades), load materials, and prepare the truck for leaving as directed by the team leader or PM. Wear uniforms and have proper P.P.E. Have proper credentials required by law and/or Columbia Landcare (Driver's license, Medical Card when driving a company truck, Technician card if applying chemicals, etc.) . Always fasten seatbelts, while company truck is in transit. Have an open/helpful mindset - when there is something that needs to be done, willing and able to take the initiative to help. Have a plan ready to go for how to undertake your work, making sure you have all the equipment and information you need to be successful once you arrive on the job site. On-site: Follow the Production Manager's instructions on proper labor methods and techniques and safe equipment use. Perform work as instructed by a crew leader and/or PM. Always remember safety comes first. If you cannot safely do something let someone know, and we will assist in the situation.
