Summary: The Pit-Crew Set-Up role supports all aspects of flexo press set-ups to minimize press downtime and maximize productivity. This position works closely with Press Operators, Prepress, and Production to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate machine make-ready. Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday Air Conditioned Warehouse ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned. * Ensure all required tooling, plates, cylinders, materials, dies, and accessories are staged on the set-up cart prior to press make-ready. * Mount printing plates as required per job specifications. * Organize and maintain the kitting area to support efficient set-up preparation. * Perform machine make-ready activities, including loading and removing print cylinders, materials, laminations, dies, scoring equipment, and related components in accordance with standard work procedures. * Assist Press Operators with the set-up and adjustment of auxiliary equipment. * Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to the designated preproduction areas after set-up completion. * Assist in other departments or production areas as needed. * Work collaboratively with Prepress and Production team members to support customer satisfaction, cost control, and on-time performance. Qualifications and Education Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one year of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a printing environment is preferred.
