NATURE OF WORK Responsibility for providing semi-skilled to skilled construction, maintenance and repair of the city's street systems. Work is performed under the general direction of the Street & Traffic Manager and Street & Traffic Superintendent. Grocery overnight stock crew clerks are responsible for making sure the grocery section of the store is well stocked and orderly in appearance. They stock shelves, order product, build displays, bag groceries for customers, unload trucks, operate a fork lift if trained to do so, organize the back room and clean store areas as required. They are also responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate "check out" to our customers. They will greet and assist customers in locating products in the store. Grocery evening crew clerks will operate computerized cash register systems to weigh, scan, and process transactions.
