The Transitional Work Crew Trainer also oversees the training of trainees in daily tasks, safety programs, and other necessary training as needed. Representative Duties: The following duties are typical for this classification. * Inspects and prepares transportation vehicles for daily operation requirements, perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and completes required documentation to report any damage or defects of vehicles and associated equipment when applicable. Diagnose and make minor repairs to equipment/vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition. * May operate commercial vans with trailer, and maneuvers in difficult spaces and under challenging weather conditions.
