Essential Functions: -Loads food orders and materials onto district truck in a safe, orderly manner. -Transport food orders and materials from one building to another building in a district truck or vehicle. -Unloads food orders and materials from district truck at delivery site in a safe, orderly manner. -Follows sanitation and safety requirements when handling food and equipment. -Ensures hot and cold food items are kept in compliance with food safety standards. -Engage in direct culinary line support as needed to ensure the efficient operation of food service. -Interacts with coworkers to ensure high service standards. -Provides quality customer service via one-on-one attention to detail. -Support with any daily cleaning or maintenance needs for the efficient operation of the child nutrition program. -Performs other duties as assigned. General Responsibilities: -Ability to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements. -Ability to operate all equipment appropriately as required. -Ability to communicate and work e?ectively and cooperatively with members of the school district and community. -Ability to react to changes and frequent interruptions in a productiveand positive manner, and handle other tasks as assigned. -Ability to assist the kitchen with general food service work whenassigned. -Ability to work to implement the vision and mission of the district. Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions: -Requires prolonged standing. -Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 60 pounds. -Requires stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, turning, climbing and balancing. -Must work in noisy and crowded environments, with numerous interruptions. -Must work in and around fumes and odors.
