Perform preventive maintenance on light-duty equipment under direction of supervisor and/or Maintenance Foreman.

When performing roadway maintenance, checks to determine if other, unassigned work in the immediate area, needs attention and proactively responds to the need; reports the same to Maintenance Foreman.

Install, maintain, and remove various types of roadway lane closures (mobile and static) under the direction of Maintenance Foreman.
Perform roadside and facility landscaping work, such as clearing weeds and brush, and planting and trimming.

Chartway Arena is a 9,100-seat multi-purpose arena located on the campus of Old Dominion University. Qualifications
Candidates must be available to work most events. For football, ALL 6 home games are required, including any post-season.
Availability to work Men's and Women's Basketball Games.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of basketball and/or football is required.
Video knowledge/experience is preferred but not required.

What to Expect:
This is a full-time, traveling position and you are expected to travel extensively (driving a box truck or other large vehicles from city to city) on tours starting immediately after being hired. Altogether, this equates to 7 - 9 months on the road each year, give or take, with breaks in between tour seasons. Looking for something shorter?
