Part Time Dock Crew We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Dock Crew Member to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and segregating products based on specific delivery routes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong focus on accuracy and safety. This is a part-time position with variable hours, requiring a few hours of work each shift. The shift schedule will be 12am until finish determined based on operational needs and may include weekends certain of the year. Essential Functions: Scan, sort and organize products on the dock according to designated delivery routes. Assist with loading of shipments in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all safety protocols. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Ensure that products are handled with care to prevent damage during the sorting process. Follow company policies and procedures for product handling. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The employee must frequently lift/and or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: This position operates in both an office/warehouse environment, or in a company truck/van, with both indoor and outdoor exposure to a variety of temperatures during the workday.
