May assist in demonstrating and training on job-related safety measures and work environment. * Responsible for training work crew on heat and illness prevention, code of safe operating practices, Cal Trans traffic management, Cal Trans protection of workers, safety tailgate meetings, and other various trainings as assigned. * Responsible for record-keeping and filing activities, collects work performance and program operations data, and prepares reports. * Assigns and accounts for tools, materials, and equipment issued to program trainees for daily work projects.
