President and Chief Marketing Officer at Cricket Wireless
Do you work at Cricket Wireless?
Does leadership effectively guide Cricket Wireless toward its goals?
It’s easy to do.
Management would rather please customers then explain how the systems work.
None.
Nothing
By making them train specifically management.
I really didn’t prepare myself.
Nothing
It’s crappy
My coworkers brought more joy than management did, management brought stress and anxiety.
That there is very little expectation for greatness. The only stress you have is your own you put on yourself.
Mind numbing and you deal with the public who knows almost nothing about something they use everyday.
Couldn’t have much of an easier job. You will not get rich but depending if you work for corporate or an authorized retailer is if you can make enough to survive.
No clue who it even is.
Culture is just fine. Very inclusive and welcoming to everyone.
I made sure that when the guy came out for the interview I was helping a customer of there’s and asked him to hold on a second. I was hired immediately.
Lower than most
They are very inclusive
Helping others while continuously getting to learn new things
You get a flexible schedule & upbeat friendly environment. Somewhat laid back but can get pretty busy.
The pay isn’t that much when you work at small stores like mine which is 2.0
Employees can get discounts on their phone service & Cricket is a franchise meaning if one day I had the money to do so, I could eventually own and run my own cricket store.
Idk anything about them besides the training.
I would probably have higher up managers coming out to stores to check on the stores & get inside scoops on issues as well as things going good. Sometimes it’s hard to get the full picture when everything is done through email.
I prepared for my interview by researching cricket a little bit & coming in with a positive yet competitive attitude ready to sell
Customer interactions and getting to see my commissions after a sale brings me the most joy at work.
If you mean diverse as in people I think it’s semi diverse in my area but I’ve noticed we don’t have any transgender or “disabled” (such as in a wheelchair or such) people who work for us in my city.
I’ve heard from insiders that AT&T actually pays way better hourly plus commissions but it makes sense because it is a larger phone company that we run under. However it makes me feel as tho cricket is an entry level position and if you excel you could potentially try to apply to AT&T itself with your new knowledge of cellphones and the company.
Commission
The managers get to do what they want.
Don't have one a favorite perk or benefit
The environment, the group team, selling cellphones and working with the clients
