The Law School Assistant Technology Specialist provides first level technical computing and instructional technology support to Law School faculty, staff, students and events and supports project-based work. This position supports classroom technology systems and executes a range of technical tasks and troubleshooting related to Law School desktop and classroom hardware, software, and systems. The Law Assistant Technology Specialist proactively communicates with the LSCS team and members of the community regarding service requests, events, or other tasks and projects, creates user documentation, and provides training to Law faculty, staff and students, as directed.
All staff in the School of Law report to the Associate Dean for Administration. Additionally, Law School Assistant Technology Specialist is accountable to the Director of Law School Technology.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
1. Provide classroom technology and media support to Law School users. This includes:
* Providing maintenance, updates and troubleshooting of classroom technology systems;
* Serving as a LSCS primary in-person point-of-contact for the Weekend JD Program;
* Advising faculty and staff on classroom technology requirements and limitations;

I. Position Summary:
Located at Loyola University Chicago's Health Sciences Campus in Maywood, IL, the Director of the Office of Registration and Records (ORR) at the Stritch School of Medicine provides strategic and operational leadership, management, and coordination of daily operations to ensure regulatory compliance, maintenance of student records, and oversight of the registration process. This role oversees a student-centered team, promotes operational excellence through process improvement and technology integration, and collaborates closely with key functional partners including Admissions & Recruitment, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, Educational Affairs, and Alumni Affairs, as well as University offices, such as the University's Office of Registration & Records and the Graduate School.
The Director also coordinates with external partners such as the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital, the Association of American Medical Colleges Student Records System, the National Board of Medical Examiners, and state, national, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
II. Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategic Leadership & Compliance
* Provide strategic direction for the Office of Registration and Records aligned with institutional goals.
* Maintaining compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards, including FERPA, and federal/state regulations.
* Develop, implement, and enforce academic and administrative policies.
* Assessing operations against national best practices in registrar operations and academic recordkeeping to optimize service delivery and resource use.
* Support onboarding and training efforts for staff, faculty, and administrators in academic systems and policies.
Academic Records & Policy Administration
* Serve as the official custodian of student academic records.
* Ensure the integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and secure access of all educational records.
* Maintain student status and eligibility in various 3rd party data sources, e.g. AAMC Student Records Systems (SRS), National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME), Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO).
* Provide direction and oversight of key processes such as transcript evaluations, student certifications, attendance record keeping, visiting student records, grade processing and progression, and student orientations.
* Interpret and apply institutional policies related to grading, probation, dismissal, and graduation.
* Collaborate with degree program leadership, student affairs deans, and curricular affairs deans on curricular changes and student enrollment adjustments.
* Maintain the academic catalog in the student information system and ensure accurate course information.
* Manage the conferral of degrees.
Registration, Scheduling, and Enrollment
* Direct all aspects of course registration, course scheduling, and enrollment status changes.
* Coordinate the registration process for each academic term.
Technology & Business Process Optimization
* Oversee the student information system, ensuring data accuracy and security.
* Serve as the security administrator for registrar-related access to the student information system.
* Lead implementation of new technologies and revise workflows to improve efficiency.
* Provide system training and documentation for faculty and staff.
Institutional Reporting
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting to external entities (e.g., IPEDS, Clearinghouse).
* Support institutional accreditation and compliance reporting requirements.
* Prepare academic data analyses to inform strategic planning and policy development.
Supervisory
* This position supervises a staff team of 3 including Assistant Director, Records Coordinator and Registration Specialist.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Minimum Education:
* Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education preferred
Minimum Experience:
* 6-10 years experience in a higher education environment required with strong preference for experience in a registrar's office in a medical school setting
* 3-5 years experience managing a team of 2 or more
Qualifications

* At least five years experience in a registrar's office or equivalent higher education setting
* Prior experience with graduate and/or professional degree program delivery, with medical school or health science university experience highly preferred.

The Lodging and Event Manager is the on-site contact and is responsible for managing the lodging at the Water Tower and Lake Shore campuses and the setup, day of support, and breakdown of events occurring. This position coordinates opening and closing of buildings for events, and responding to inquiries and needs regarding lodging and events occurring through Conference Services. This oversight ensures that safe and well-executed events/lodging which occur to support the recruitment and retention goals of the University. This position will also:
* Work with both the University community and external clients on meetings/events/conferences for meeting room reservations and summer lodging in the residential halls available at all campuses, as well as year-round the Baumhart Suites River North
* Manage the hiring, training, and supervision of up to 90-100 student staff to support lodging and event operations.
* Work directly with clients on their lodging assignments: guest check-in/out, payment processing, lodging room setups/changeovers, housekeeping support, customer service support for day/night requests and overnight requests/accommodations.
* Be available evenings and weekends, and holidays to handle and troubleshoot emergencies and needs of clients and guests.
* Develop and train student staff on job responsibilities and emergency evacuation.
* Track and maintain inventory that is critical to the support of events and the conference housing operation. This includes but is not limited to linens, pillows, toiletries, cleaning supplies, etc.
* Work closely with campus partners including Facilities, Catering, Campus Safety, etc. on event and guest lodging information when needed.

* Maintains regulatory documents, (including 1572s, Delegation of Authority logs, Financial Disclosure Forms, Consent Forms, and trainings) for pharmaceutical/CIRB and/or cooperative group protocols and ensures the Study Team and Investigators have completed the required training.
* Trains/assists new/seasoned Staff on regulatory process including CITI training, Study start-up, IRB submissions, maintaining a Study, and ensuring all essential documents are correct to submit to monitor/sponsor.
* Assists Staff in archiving Study files and ensures all Staff have appropriate box # to archive Studies, assists with boxing any regulatory files or patients charts in appropriate boxes, maintains a catalog of all Studies archive, and ensures all files are kept in a secure place.
* Coordinates regulatory agenda with regulatory coordinators/Leads weekly regulatory meetings.
* Meets with Principal Investigators to review all active, closed, and upcoming Studies and attends Research meetings with the multidisciplinary Teams.
* Coordinates meetings with the Study teams (Research Nurses and CRCs) weekly to review regulatory status of Studies.
* Assists investigators with CITI training and renewing their Cancer Therapy Evaluation Program (CTEP) number for the NCI Clinical Trials in the Registration and Credential Repository (RCR).
* Participates in internal/external audits to ensure regulatory compliance and implement corrective and preventive action plans as needed.
* Maintains CCCTO website with protocol, consents, and accurate status of (closed, temp closed, or pending).
* Maintains master tracker with other regulatory coordinators for Study statuses.
* Utilizes Docusign for Study needs as appropriate.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience

* Bachelor's Degree
* 3 - 5 years of Clinical Trials Regulatory experience is required.

Job Summary: The Prefect of Mission will provide direction, vision, and oversight for the spiritual development curriculum and co-curriculum that are core to the Saint Ignatius mission.
