Primary Objectives of Position: Serves as first point of contact for all customers seeking Workforce Center Services.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist customers in accessing resources to secure employment, training or other supportive services to attain self-sufficiency.
Provide basic information and direct customers to services in an appropriate, timely and efficient manner.
Promote the benefits and scope of services available by making customer referrals to appropriate workshops, assessments and internal programs.
Ensure that there is equitable access for all individuals regardless of needs or barriers.
Coordinate the efficient use of resources with partner staff.
Use computers and printed materials, assist customers in accessing various websites including state systems, for relevant information on job search information and other resource for developing job leads.
Assist customers in accessing labor market information and provide assistance on applications, resume and cover letter development and work search software tools.
Maintain the schedule of workshops and orientations, coordinate staying abreast of regional activities to provide customers with up to date information.
Answer, transfer and direct incoming calls from across the region.
Maintain customer statistics and provide weekly, monthly, quarterly reports to leadership as required.
Utilize Extreme Customer Service behaviors in all interactions with internal and external customers.

Education:
Associate Degree with course work in Social Services or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:

Workforce Service experience or demonstrated ability to serve diverse populations required. Prefer working knowledge of all applicable local Workforce Service programs. Familiarity with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations required.

Who we are looking for:
We are currently searching for a Packaging Operator to be based out of Lovelady, TX. Reporting to the Manufacturing Shift Lead, this person will be responsible for maintaining the quality of the extruded (HDPE pipe) product throughout the manufacturing and packaging process.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
What you'll do:
Operator monitors and checks product during manufacturing process to meets the order requirements.
Monitors print and footage markings. Makes corrections as needed.
Monitors for continuous stripe (if required).
Knows and understands the quality requirements for all products being produced.
Makes corrections as needed to meet order specifications and informs the line supervisor after making the necessary adjustments.
Uses reel components to build reels to size specifications.
Places the correct reel onto the coiler and prepare for startup. Reel must be in good physical condition.
Ensures wraps on reels are correct and neat.
Cuts conduit, ties-off and caps conduit when each reel is complete.
Removes reel from the coiler using a forklift and transports the finished product into inventory.
Grinds material scrap as it is produced and stacks scrap.
Assists the extrusion tech in line start-ups.
Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
Assists other packaging specialist in cutting conduit, tie-offs, and reel changes.
Follows all safety requirements for this position and all company safety guidelines.
Completes appropriate line operations paperwork to ensure accurate inventory transactions.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Ability to perform simple math including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and take measurements.

CNC Programmer and Machinist
$15 per hour job in Elkhart, TX
This role is for an experienced CNC Programmer and Machinist responsible for programming, setting up, and running CNC machines, including vertical machining centers (VMCs), CNC lathes, and horizontal machines. The machinist will create and optimize CNC programs, oversee setups, and lead day-to-day operations in the machine shop. Experience machining castings is required, along with the ability to deliver precision work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (VMCs, CNC lathes, horizontals) for production and custom jobs
• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to produce parts to required tolerances
• Perform setups, select tooling, and verify part quality using precision measuring instruments
• Lead the machine shop team, oversee daily operations, and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained

Education & Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or technical certification preferred

• Ability to troubleshoot programs, setups, and machining issues independently
• Must provide and maintain own set of precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Location
Position is based 30 miles east of Waco, Texas / 60 miles west of Elkhart, Texas (near Mexia) ; candidates must be able to commute or relocate as needed.
Compensation

Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
Cook and package batches of food, such as fried chicken, hamburgers, armadillo eggs, and banana pudding, which are prepared to order or kept warm/cold until sold.
Cook the exact number of items according to shift Par or ordered by customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
Maintain sanitation, health. And safety standards in work areas.
Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles.
Prepare specialty foods such as pizzas, fish, and sandwiches, following specific methods that usual require short preparation time.
Read food order slips or receive verbal instruction as to food required by patron, and prepare and cook food according to instructions.
Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
Wash, cut, and prepare foods designated for cooking.
Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
Order and take delivery of supplies from vendor.
Take food and drink orders and receive payment from customers.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ensure that all cooked food reaches 165 degrees internal temperature, and all cold items are stored below 41 degrees.
Ensure that equipment is calibrated and cooking at proper temperature.
