Founded in 1885, the Little Rock company is the oldest architecture firm in Arkansas and among the oldest in America, with a resume of work around the nation and even abroad.
In 1886, Charles Thompson joined the firm.
Theo Sanders and Frank Ginocchio also worked with Thompson, and Thompson Sanders and Ginocchio was established in 1927.
The school was eventually torn down and, in 1948, Edwin Cromwell and John Truemper Jr. were awarded a contract to design the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion.
The two designed the Arkansas Governor's Mansion, which opened in 1950.
