Accurately measure materials using a tape measure. Collaborate effectively with team members and demonstrate strong communication skills. Pass required weld tests for seam welder and top seam welder pay, including: 3G-4G structure plate bend test. MSB 3G-4G groove test and 1G-2mm plate test per Metal Shark WPS. MSB 3G and 4G-4mm plate test per Metal Shark WPS. Provide consistent quality welds daily to maintain seam/top welder pay. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in the ship/boat building industry welding aluminum. Ability to pass all required weld tests as outlined above. Excellent math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately. Strong work ethic, communication skills, and ability to work well in a team. The Software Learning and Development Intern will play a key role in ensuring smooth class flow by providing technical assistance, preparing class materials, and aiding participants in understanding the software. As the Software Learning and Development Intern, you would be expected to attend certification training to set- up, engage, and assist customers and Training Developers. Additional responsibilities would include an intern project: LMS Platform Modernization. Focus of this project is to expand user experience on Gemvision's LMS platforms by increasing searchability and training content flow, setting up learning paths for new users, and bringing older recorded content to a current version. Key Responsibilities: * Assist instructors during in-person and virtual CAD training sessions. * Prepare training materials prior to class events, including workstation setup, sample files, tutorials, and handouts. * Monitor participant progress during sessions and provide feedback to instructors to enhance the learning experience. * Collaborate with instructors to develop and refine training content to ensure alignment with course objectives. * Create, record, audit, and monitor customer-facing Online Academy platforms to support customer satisfaction and retention. * Partner with the Onboarding Specialist to support administrative tasks such as scheduling and post-session evaluations. * Support LMS platform modernization initiatives. * Conduct GV Manual Certification audits. Basic Qualifications: * Basic understanding of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar) with hands-on experience in design or drafting workflows. * Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot software-related issues efficiently. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently. * Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Familiarity with virtual training platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Job DescriptionThe main duty of a camp counselor is to ensure the safety and welfare of their assigned group of campers, while also making "Happy Campers" by engaging in games and activities with their group. Counselors will lead their groups though a schedule of daily activities, assisted by a Group Leader. Holiday Camps are seasonal positions, and we can work around your schedule. We are open for Thanksgiving, Christmas/Winter Break, Mardi Gras, and Easter/Spring Break. Counselors who perform well may be offered a summer camp position as well, offering a year-round, flexible and fun way to earn money when you're not in school.
