Summary
Position Highlights:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Parking & Transportation, this position is responsible for the safe and timely transport of patients, visitors, staff, medical stats and other items between all Moffitt Center campuses. This position will be the liaison between all campuses, picking up and dropping off items while doing multiple round trips throughout the scheduled shift. Maintains vehicle clean and sanitized. Has an open line of communication with dispatch, Lead Transport Driver, and the management team. Must be willing to cross-train in various department assignments as needed.
Responsibilities:
* Follow the proper route and efficiency in the timely drop-off/pick-up of items from any building on any campus of Moffitt Cancer Center.
* Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitizing vehicles.
* Receives and follows directions from two-way radios from dispatch and other entities.
* May need to deliver lab specimens for business needs.
* Prepares and maintains spreadsheets if needed for specimens and item deliveries.
* Document any discrepancies and report missing items and inventory concerns to Management.
* May perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Credentials and Qualifications:
* High School Education/GED required.
* One (1) year of customer service experience is required.
* A valid Florida driver's license is required upon hire.
* Evidence of a safe driving record.
* Must be 21 years of age or older.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary
The Medical Transportation Driver (CNA) is responsible for safely transporting wheelchair-bound residents from the hospital to the facility for admittance using a 15-passenger bus. This role supports the admissions process by ensuring timely, safe, and courteous transport while representing the facility with professionalism and compassion.
Major Duties & Critical Tasks
Safely transport residents-primarily wheelchair transports-from hospitals to the facility for admission.
Adhere to facility standards and organizational competencies, including maintaining professional communication, following safety protocols, and providing respectful, patient-centered service.
Required Education & Experience
Must be a licensed driver in the state of Florida.
Must hold an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, maintained as a condition of employment.
Must have an acceptable, clean 3-year driving record.
Must be comfortable driving a 15-passenger bus.
Experience transporting wheelchair residents preferred.
Additional Notes
This position is evening shift only (4p-9p).
Transport is specifically for wheelchair residents being admitted to the facility from the hospital.
