GENERAL PURPOSE
This position is responsible for properly recognize the correct linen belonging to the account being processed. You must ensure there is no mixed, dirty, or damaged linen before feeding into the machine or hand-folding it. You must maintain a fast pace speed meeting company's expectations while practicing safety procedures. In addition, the Production Operators will help on making sure the machinery is working properly, by communicating with their leaders of any issues.

GENERAL PURPOSE
Your role as a Logistics Manager is to organize and ensure that all routes are delivered to the right location on time, maximizing the cost and making sure drivers follow all safety guidelines and DOT laws. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategically plan and manage logistics transportation and any related customer services issues.
Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers in relation to the logistic department.
Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
Plan routes and ensure accuracy and timely process are being met.
Resolve any arising problems or complaints, within the department or with the customers.
Supervise, coach, and train all logistics department employees.
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
Determine needs for expansion of routes and schedules.
Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Ensure all drivers are complying with DOT-FL traffic laws, regulations, and requirements.
Maintains quality service by enforcing organization delivery standards.
Compiles data on employee productivity and utility usage to produce daily operational reports.

Supervises employees to include the initial training of the new hires prior to actual work performed.
Assigns directs work and coaches staff.
Responsible for Bins Inventory and Control to include controls of transit.
Responsible for Scale Inventory at all customer locations.
Responsible for documenting/addressing employee's unsatisfactory work performance and/or discipline issues as needed to correct unsatisfactory behavior within the company's established guidelines.
Responsible for all hiring and termination procedures, and performance evaluations for the department.
Responsible for collecting data and producing trend and planning reports.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
Conduct monthly safety meetings for all logistics department employees.
Will always provide professional and courteous service to our customers and staff.
Will communicate with the sales team and General Manager/Operations Manager of any customer or route concerns.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field preferred.
Must have a valid Class A driver's license for at least 1 years, clean MVR & a current DOT medical card
Must have 3 or more year's related experience.
Ability to pass a criminal background check, a drug screen testing for pre-employment and random programs.
Able to accept alternative plant assignments, willing to travel and attend training seminars, if required
Knowledge of all DOT Regulations
Must have excellent customer service skills
