Very poor communication, management has a hands off approach. This has lead to confusion and frustration as most communication is through work place gossip.
The only good thing is the interaction with other folks at work.
I’m seriously trying to think of the pros of working at Crypton. This hard as nothing comes to mind!
Better communication let the workforce know what is going on. Be consistent with company policies. Don’t say something and then not do it.
Research from people in the industry and internet research.
As people they are great, as leaders they tend to avoid conflict at all cost.
I am a new hire; three weeks in. Everyone is very friendly and helpful.
None at this time.
I am temp at this time and am not privy to the benefits.
I
Being able to work in a textile plant again Living 5 min.'s from work Enjoying my job and having pride in the work I do
Maybe a little more money
Having a great work family. We all get along with each other so well, that is not found in many companies anymore.
The culture, quality, and hybrid/remote options.
There's nothing better than working at a company filled with people who are happy to be there and believe in the product. The culture is unbelievable and the hybrid/remote work opportunities make a huge difference for my life.
They are driven and goal-oriented while being down-to-earth, friendly, and accessible.
Not sure yet
I prepared by talking with the team about opportunities, then providing my CV, aligning on goals and expectations, then moving on to the official interview/hiring process.
It's a little below industry average, but the remote work opportunities and generous travel allowances make up for it.
I'm not totally sure about this as I work remotely but there is diversity of gender and orientation on my team.
Working with great people
Travel and opportunity to work with creative design accounts.
Remote work/Travel
All are approachable and personable
Interviewed via phone during Covid lockdown
In my past experience, it seems to be average
Not bad but could be a little more diverse
The clients and design firms I get to work with.
I like that it's a company that values all of its team members. The senior leadership team, although in Michigan and the manufacturing sites are in NC, always make frequent trips to the facilities. They come to visit as support and although it's a business trip, they all tend to have a nice personal touch to apply to their visits.
I haven't found one yet that's worth calling a con. There are some things that I would do differently, but I see that as an evolution of improvements over a period of time.
There are too many to name them all, but just a few are........pay, benefits, location, family environment that works hard to the success of the company and genuinely cares about each other and the overall business.
Their involvement with the manufacturing facilities and their willingness to listen to ideas without being critical.
Improvement and involvement of more updated systems and equipment, along with training of new and current associates. That will come in time, I do believe.
Research of the company and the folks that I would interview with. Resume preparation, location of the facility and surrounding area. Bringing my resume with me to the interview, as well as presentation about me, family and my business approach.
It's comparable to the industry average.
Our local statistics show that we have a very diverse work force.
Bringing about positive change with all of my peers and watching the team prosper as a result of those changes.
Autonomy of daily work duties while still contributing the Crypton initiatives of technical performance fabric, and a providing quality and service to customers.
Freedom to set work schedule as long as the job gets done.
I would appreciate a quarterly update on the overall status of the textile market and our Company's performance compared to annual goals.
All ideas and suggestions for business are welcomed and heard.
Create a forum for anonymous feedback. Plus, create a list of a few questions from the HR perspective to specifically measure job satisfaction and interaction with work peers and my supervisor.
I updated my resume listing strengths and weaknesses of my skill set + connected with others in the industry who have experience with working with Crypton associates.

on par
regular interaction and collaboration with others to problem solve and execute job requirements.
Small company with a family feel to it. Work hours. No micro-management
Salary and benefits are a bit lower than average
Ability to work from home once a week
He is down to earth, approachable. Leadership team is for the most part empathetic and wants to help
Allowing those that have the ability to work from home to do that. Several drive a distance to get to work and this perk would save associates time, gas, etc. & boost morale
Researching the company and the people I was interviewing with. Went over typical interview questions for my position
It is lower than the industry average
I feel the company is quite diverse
I enjoy working with my team. We have a lot of good people that care about the company and want us to be successful
The Company has a family type attitude towards its employees. I have felt very welcomed to the Company since my first day. The people who work for the Company come with a great attitude and care about the Company.
The Company has maintained a small team which results in several main people doing a lot of the workload. Due to the Company being global the complexity of the Company is vast.
Working with a team to accomplish a common goal.
The team Opportunity for advancement The executive team and mentorship Snacks Flexibility Support and encouragement The pace that we work together - everyone is on the same page Consistent feedback
Working with the BEST people in the biz!
Our CEO and leadership team are all approachable and invested in each person's success.
Awesome atmosphere to be in,actually enjoy coming to work! Everyone makes u feel welcomed!
Maybe if I had to say and increase with pay and a little better on your benefits! Definitely since the cost of living is so high now!
I only live 5 mins away!
There attitude and love for the company and the effort they put in to getting our product out there and making our company bigger.
Again maybe the pay and benefits, and updating the equipment and working environment
Honestly I didn’t know how to prepare myself cause I never worked in this type of environment or industry so I just went with my guidance I had on my previous jobs interview and showed I was willing to work and be there and invest my time and self to the company and they welcomed me in and I couldn’t be anymore thankful for the opportunity they have given me! So thankful and blessed!
The atmosphere and the leadership that I have around me to make sure my job is done right but not only done right but teaching me how to be better at my job and make sure to make the best product for the company!
Like I said I feel like it should be a little higher with how much the cost of living has gone up but who would want to have a higher salary or wages. It’s average it’s not low but maybe a small increase to help mange out the cost of living.
Outstanding one point of view is we have a good bit of people that’s been working there for 20 up to 40 yrs maybe a differ name but same place and to have them women and men there to help lead us younger generation where we need to be is a blessing!
Almost everyone is like family, small work environment, laid back company, lenient attendance policy, family members are hired
Snitches that go over management and go straight to HR about trivial things, certain employees get favoritism, certain manager not friendly, actually rude at times, no raise in years and no cost of living raise with this economy, certain employees tell manager what they are going to do and how the manager needs to act and run the company, we've been working alot of Saturdays lately
Monthly quality bonus whenever we get it, haven't been rewarded in several months
CEO visits occasionally, leadership team is lenient with employees
By not allowing employees to go over the management that is in place and go straight to HR in Michigan to tattle on things happening in the workplace, brown nosing should be stopped, there are more important things that need to be addressed than shoes worn or radio use at the work area and other silliness
I read about the company online to get an idea of what was involved in the workplace, I applied at Crypton and was interviewed at Crypton
In my experience the compensation is the same or equivalent to the industry average
I like the employees I work with, I enjoy the talks and help I've received from the relationships I've made, it's not just a workplace
I believe the representation of diverse demographic is fair in age and race
The people in manufacturing are good to work with
No communication from management on topics that regard pay or bonus. Poor communication on daily performance.
Can't think of any that i would call my favorite or better than any other company..
Better communication, Let the employees know about pay increases or bonus. Let the employees know the issues customers have. Better planning on production, there is a constant change to production schedule.
na
i can't say anything.

the people
It is OK
Pros of working at crypton are mostly the hours. If you have kids in school it's perfect.
Pay. Other places pay more
Hours. 7am to 3pm
What I like best about the leadership at crypton is they are willing to work with you if you need to be off for your children.
I would improve the company by paying your employs (especially the ones that'd been there for over 10 years) more
I didn't interview
In my experience crypton don't pay as good as most places
I enjoy my job. I like my supervisor.
Excellent work environment and a real family atmosphere. Salary and benefits are very fair, and the employees have been with the company for a long time. Management is very approachable and really care about everyone.
The company is growing really fast on a global basis and sometimes it's hard to keep up. As management sees the need for additional hiring, they are always willing to do so.
Quarterly bonuses, Monthly birthday party recognition.
The CEO has been with the company for 20 years so most everyone knows him. He is very approachable and friendly and doesn't act like he is superior to everyone.
Better communication across the company is always a good thing.
Crypton pays a competitive wage in addition to paying out quarterly bonuses.
This is an area that the company is always working to improve on and has done a good job of making sure that all demographics are represented within the company.
When I walk into a furniture retailer and see our fabrics on the furniture and know that we played a big part of making that happen. I also love to see employees within the company get succeed.
benefit package for insurance/401 is nice
limited upward movement potential
401 program
for the most part, they allow you to do your job with minimal micro-managing. with exception to a few people.
no interview, company absorbed the employees upon acquisition of the mill
more involvement between sister plants
in line
i'm not interested in diversity, it's hogwash. it should be merit driven only.
accomplishing a task that seems impossible, to then see it work.
