Assignment of Work and Travel:
This is a remote access assignment. Candidates will work remotely daily and will remotely access HHS systems and therein use approved HHS provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite client meetings as requested.
Description:
Applicants should have a solid understanding and demonstrated knowledge of analytics and data views, as well as experience with software development best practices, processes, and procedures. The role includes working with data modelers and architects to effectively design, plan, and develop data analysis work products, consisting of parameterized reports, interactive Business Intelligence artifacts and data visualizations to support the growing the functionalities of personnel, time and attendance, payroll, workmen's compensation, learning, and other administrative source information systems. Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a business or technical discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as Business Objects Developer or Analytics Designer
Excellent knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Suite, Microsoft Power BI
Experience with data and system management tools such as CMC, Business View Manager, UDT/IDT is required.
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Smart Data Integration is preferred.
Experience with APIs/RESTful APIs development (JSON, Python, etc.) is preferred.
Experience in implementing API security using OAuth, SAML, etc. is preferred

We are seeking a hands-on software engineer with a background in active, recent SAP ABAP development, including dialogue programming, SAP Forms/SAP Script, ALV reporting, IDOC processing, and use of function modules, RFCs, BAPIs, and web services.
**We are specifically looking for candidates who:**
+ Have 4 - 5 years of recent and relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.
+ Have a deep understanding of SAP ECC 6.0 and AR, AP, SD, FI, and MM modules.
+ Are primarily software engineers with a strong focus on coding and technical implementation.
+ Are problem-solvers and team players with the ability to design, develop, and maintain high-quality technology solutions with cross-functional teams.
**We are not seeking candidates who:**
+ Are primarily SAP consultants or analysts without a strong focus on hands-on software development.
+ Have limited or no recent experience in SAP ABAP development.
+ Have only worked with S/4 HANA.
+ Have not worked on SAP ECC in the last 4 to 5 years.
+ Are looking for a primarily consulting or advisory role.
