Mechanical Construction Supervisor This position is responsible for: Supervision of the construction of geothermal power plants, at the various locations of installation, provide experience in mechanical industrial construction. Develop work plans and follow up on progress during the construction. Review and implement mechanical design drawings and specifications. Project scheduling assistance and evaluations for 3rd party contract bid development. Quality assurance of all mechanical installations.

Standard Work Schedule:

Position Summary:
The Superintendent will oversee all phases of the installation of HVAC systems in new construction sites within multiple communities.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops a schedule to meet production demands and successful completion of inspections in assigned communities.
Read, understand, and execute HVAC equipment installations instructions, duct layouts, shop drawings, and plans.
Collaborates with general contractors/builders, inspectors, and project managers to ensure the successful completion of units in assigned communities.
Coordinates and schedules the work activities of PCIs and company installation crews to deliver instructions and work assignments as appropriate.
Forecasts to ensure all sites have all material and equipment needed on the job site.
Regularly inspects work for quality, completeness, and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports for general contractors/builders, internal management teams, and makes recommendations for necessary corrections.
Able to perform punch work to help move units to inspection.
Collaborates with general contractors/builders, project managers, and other pertinent stakeholders to ensure specifications, code, and Zoning requirements are met.
Ensures correct equipment locations, duct layouts and duct sizing are followed, and refrigerant line sets are installed properly in the locations specified by the general contractor/builder.
Coordinate EPO work requests and quoted charges with the admin team for approval prior to completing work.
Balances work between communities to ensure all general contractors/builders and schedules are being met and inspections are called in a timely manner.
Addresses any safety violations or other deficiencies and issued safety violations as needed.
Ensures job site remains clean of excess material and debris.
Walks job sites daily to ensure progress is being met as scheduled.
Maintain knowledge of the national code and state-specific codes/amendments and understand how they are applied in projects in the surrounding areas.
Provide learning and development opportunities through coaching, managing performance, and mentoring.

Qualifications:
Required: 3+ years HVAC supervisory experience (Installation or Service).
Required: High School diploma or GED.
Required: Thorough understanding of HVAC installation and industry best practices.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Alaska Overview
ConocoPhillips Alaska and its heritage companies have more than 50 years of business history in Alaska. As Alaska's largest oil and gas producer, the company produced an average of 182 thousand barrels of oil 2017. ConocoPhillips, with about 1,100 Alaska employees, holds major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay Unit, the Kuparuk River Unit, and the Colville River Unit (Alpine). ConocoPhillips operates the Kuparuk and Alpine oil fields on the North Slope. The company has an ownership interest in the Trans Alaska Pipeline System (TAPS) and owns/operates the Polar Tankers fleet.
Asset Description
Willow is an oil discovery located within the Bear Tooth Unit (BTU) in the National Petroleum Reserve of Alaska (NPR-A) approximately 30 miles west-southwest of the Alpine Central Facility (ACF) on the North Slope of Alaska.
The Willow Development is expected to contain greater than 600 MMBOE gross recoverable resource. The initial phase of Willow development will include a new Willow Central Processing Facility (WCF), three drill sites, pipelines, roads, bridges, and supporting infrastructure. The second phase of development will include at least one additional drillsite.
Scope Summary
The Initial Development Phase will require six (6) years of field construction commencing in 2023 and completing in 2028. Early construction work focuses on establishing infrastructure, gravel roads, bridges, airstrip, pipelines, and temporary and permanent camps. Later work in the initial development phase focuses on the installation of process facilities on WCF and 3 drillsites.
Field construction commences in 2023 (Year 1) with limited civil construction. 2024 (Year 2) continues with civil construction and begins pipeline construction. 2025 (Year 3) continues civil and pipelines and on pad facility work starts with the installation of the permanent camp and infrastructure at the Willow Operations Center (WOC). 2026 (Year 4) completes civil construction, continues pipeline construction, and starts facility construction on the WCF. 2027 (Year 5) continues pipeline and facility construction work and work begins on the drillsites. 2028 (Year 6) completes pipeline and facility construction for the initial development phase.
Approximately 9MM North Slope contractor labor hours are estimated to complete the infrastructure and facility work scopes for the initial development phase over 6 construction seasons (2023-2028). This includes all contactor direct, indirect craft and staff hours. Peak construction occurs in the winter of 2025 reaching a labor force of ~2,100 as construction work associated with civil, pipelines and facility work is in progress.

Position Summary:
The Superintendent will oversee all phases of the installation of HVAC systems in new construction sites within multiple communities.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops a schedule to meet production demands and successful completion of inspections in assigned communities.
Read, understand, and execute HVAC equipment installations instructions, duct layouts, shop drawings, and plans.
Collaborates with general contractors/builders, inspectors, and project managers to ensure the successful completion of units in assigned communities.
Coordinates and schedules the work activities of PCIs and company installation crews to deliver instructions and work assignments as appropriate.
Forecasts to ensure all sites have all material and equipment needed on the job site.
Regularly inspects work for quality, completeness, and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports for general contractors/builders, internal management teams, and makes recommendations for necessary corrections.
Able to perform punch work to help move units to inspection.
Collaborates with general contractors/builders, project managers, and other pertinent stakeholders to ensure specifications, code, and Zoning requirements are met.
Ensures correct equipment locations, duct layouts and duct sizing are followed, and refrigerant line sets are installed properly in the locations specified by the general contractor/builder.
Coordinate EPO work requests and quoted charges with the admin team for approval prior to completing work.
Balances work between communities to ensure all general contractors/builders and schedules are being met and inspections are called in a timely manner.
Addresses any safety violations or other deficiencies and issued safety violations as needed.
Ensures job site remains clean of excess material and debris.
Walks job sites daily to ensure progress is being met as scheduled.
Maintain knowledge of the national code and state-specific codes/amendments and understand how they are applied in projects in the surrounding areas.

Job Summary
GPC Transmission is in the beginning stages of an exponential increase in Transmission Construction work necessary to serve the citizens of Georgia. To serve the load of the future, we must build/rebuild thousands of miles of transmission lines. To accomplish this unprecedented growth, we are designing and implementing several new contract pricing strategies to attract large construction contractors, assure fair construction costs, and have final project costs known as early as possible. Examples of pricing options being considered include EPC; turnkey; firm, fixed price; unit price; direct award based upon previously negotiated undefined quantity unit pricing; or a hybrid of these. This Construction Manager job will have dotted line reporting responsibilities to the Director of Transmission Expansion, currently Bill Harrop.
The Construction Manager is responsible for representing Transmission Construction by providing leadership, guidance, and direction of the Transmission Construction activities associated with the development of these pricing options. While this position may not initially have direct reports, it will have potential for direct report additions as deemed necessary by the Transmission Leadership team.
The role will be responsible for remaining in lockstep with all Transmission Construction Managers and utilizing necessary Transmission Construction employees when appropriate to support project pricing evaluations and the development of construction oversight processes associated with managing the work.
NOTE: This position has statewide responsibilities, travel within the state of Georgia is required with some travel out of state as needed - travel up to 25% of time
Job Responsibilities
Provide leadership for development of Transmission Construction pricing proposal requests, proposal evaluations, award recommendations, and work oversight.

Position Summary:
The Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day activities of projects and coordinate with Project Managers to manage resources, ensuring the quality, production, and safety of installation operations.

Read plans and specifications to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.

Troubleshoot equipment and systems for electrical malfunctions.

Provide oversite and leadership for administrative and technical management of construction projects delivering energy savings for public, institutional, industrial, government, and commercial customers.

Essential Functions
Responsible for supervision, direction and safety of UICN work crews & subcontractors in all aspects of commercial construction.

This position is responsible for the entire construction project from mobilization to completion by providing skills and knowledge to run the day-to-day operations of retail/commercial renovation job site(s).

What YOU will do:
· Studies Project Manual, job specifications and construction drawings to ensure timely start and finish, safety, quality of work and subcontractor performance for each phase of construction.
· Ability to understand the scope of work, evaluate and recommend means and methods typical with industry standards, estimate the time involved, and take initiative with fundamental scheduling changes to minimize cost and time.
· Manage and work alongside construction crews in the installation and/or repair of concrete, asphalt paving, structural steel, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, electrical, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and other construction tasks as needed in a live retail environment.
· Must be present on the jobsite as defined by program expectations.
· Ensure blueprints and plans are followed precisely. Evaluate risks that impact successful delivery of blueprint intent but may not be obtainable.
· Provide Daily reporting on project status with photos through project management applications as needed. Accurately detail completion and certification of projects.
· Successfully coordinate and facilitate the RFI process.
· Interface with local permitting authorities to ensure compliance and successfully coordinate required inspections including permit closeout.
· Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
· Ability to operate equipment such as Forklifts and Scissor Lifts
· Willing to travel a minimum of 14 weeks at a time across the U.S or as determined by the Project Manager.
· Must be willing to travel by air.
· Night and weekend work is required.
· Responsible for final handoff confirming all tasks are complete and correct.
· Hands on work for 20% of the time. (Examples: installing a paper towel holder or hardware)
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Plans and organizes tasks for project field staff and subcontractors.
· Maintains project schedule and minimizes delays.
· Examines work for exactness and accuracy.
· Ensure safety protocols are always followed.
· Organizes and participates in weekly toolbox talks.
