It serves health care, financial, education, legal and professional service companies, and other industries, as well as the public sector and telecommunication providers, such as wireless telecommunication companies, incumbent local exchange carriers, and competitive local exchange carriers. As of December 31, 2016, it had approximately 8,300 locations connected to its fiber network. The company was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in Bethpage, New York. CSC Holdings, LLC is a subsidiary of Altice USA.
