In addition to providing air traffic control and safety oversight for civilian aviation, the FAA also works in lockstep with the Department of Defense and other government agencies to ensure the security of our nation. A key component of that coordination involves the collaborative use of aviation tools and data.
Key Responsibilities:
A successful candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience and be proficient in:
Supporting financial management activities including planning, budgeting, and controlling the allocation of funding across multiple projects.
Coordinating and managing the creation and monitoring of reimbursable agreements with external stakeholders via the Treasury G-Invoicing system, FAA Projects Toolset, and/or Delphi.
Analyzing and reconciling financial data and project information, ensuring proper documentation and approvals for financial transactions and accounting analysis.
Ensuring accuracy in accounting data, including the preparation of financial reports and the timely close-out of reimbursable projects.

The selected candidate will be responsible for design, development, modification, and evaluation of complex Air-to-Ground (A/G) radio, voice switch, voice control systems (VCS), voice recording and protocol conversion systems used to provide operational Air Traffic Control (ATC) communications. The candidate will be instrumental in system engineering and advanced research and development associated with designing products during pre-delivery design, integration, and acceptance. Products principally involved are digital radio and voice systems installed in FAA facilities that are equipped with IP technology to enable voice and data communication over a secure network (VoIP), which will enable air-ground communications between pilots and air traffic controllers in facilities across the U.S.
Duties will include technical responsibility for planning and executing technical programs, projects, or phases of projects to include customer interface, requirements development, design reviews, and technical interchanges, and all aspects of prototype/product system design, development, demonstration, evaluation, installation, acceptance, and O&M support.

The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in upgrading the National Airspace System (NAS) infrastructure. The selected candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, commissioning and follow-on on-site tech support as required for Air-to-Ground (A/G) radio, voice switch, voice control systems (VCS), voice recording and protocol conversion systems used to provide operational FAA Air Traffic Control (ATC) communications. The candidate will perform installation, on-site testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and on-site technical support of new radio and voice control systems, including the operational cutover from legacy systems. Products principally involved are digital radio and voice systems installed in FAA facilities that are equipped with IP technology to enable voice and data communication over a secure network (VoIP), which enable air-ground communications between pilots and air traffic controllers in facilities across the U.S.

Senior Business Financial Management Analyst

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an experienced Senior Level Business Financial Management Analyst to enhance our team and provide critical support to the FAA through expert coordination, accounting, financial planning, and administration functions. This role requires advanced financial analysis and strong organizational skills to manage and monitor funding allocation, business process analysis, and financial reporting. The individual in this role will contribute to the FAA's operational and logistical functions, with specific focus on the establishment and management of reimbursable agreements, budgeting, and overall financial control. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for maintaining high standards in data accuracy and the efficient close-out of projects. This position will be based in Washington, DC.
This role supports the Federal Aviation Administration, which is responsible for ensuring the safety of 45,000 flights and 3 million passengers traversing over 28 million miles of U.S. controlled airspace every day. In addition to providing air traffic control and safety oversight for civilian aviation, the FAA also works in lockstep with the Department of Defense and other government agencies to ensure the security of our nation. A key component of that coordination involves the collaborative use of aviation tools and data.
Key Responsibilities:
A successful candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience and be proficient in:
Supporting financial management activities including planning, budgeting, and controlling the allocation of funding across multiple projects.
Coordinating and managing the creation and monitoring of reimbursable agreements with external stakeholders via the Treasury G-Invoicing system, FAA Projects Toolset, and/or Delphi.
Analyzing and reconciling financial data and project information, ensuring proper documentation and approvals for financial transactions and accounting analysis.
Ensuring accuracy in accounting data, including the preparation of financial reports and the timely close-out of reimbursable projects.
Participating in external Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and deliver clear, concise briefings to leadership and stakeholders.
Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and business process controls for financial operations.
Providing expert advice on financial operations and facilitate communication with external customers to validate expenditures and facilitate timely billing and collection.
Supporting the FAA Office of Financial Management Special Projects Division with project authority setup, accounting lines, and MIPR tracking.
Using Tableau for financial data visualization and dashboard development
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
Experience supporting the US Government clients.
Eligible to obtain a Secret clearance.
Preferred:
Experience supporting the Federal Aviation Administration
Experience with Delphi, Prism, E2, Regis, Tableau
Master's Degree, desired but not required.
