(TDSI) to its customers. CSXIT Intermodal Service Employees (ISE) are responsible for safely performing activities and completing processes that place customer freight for movement on a train from the origin to the destination servicing the TDSI network. The ISEs will also be responsible for ensuring the availability of vehicle-handling services through the TDSI network of automobile-distribution facilities and storage locations. Primary Activities and Responsibilities The activities and responsibilities are Loading, Unloading, Securement, and Inventory, including the following, but are not limited to: * Being able to ascend and descend rail cars. Drive the shuttle van to and from railcars and bays to pick up & drop off associates * Inspection and documentation of equipment/vehicles for condition and operational readiness, and reporting of any found damages prior to unloading * Operation and transfer of several types of motor vehicles (both manual and automatic transmissions) on and off multi-level railcars with limited clearances with varying degrees of elevation using ladders up to 16 feet for equipment/vehicle inspection and securement * Raise, lower, and move portable bridge plates, decks, and ramps at elevated heights * Open and close end doors on multi-level railcars weighing over 1,000 lbs. Pay Rate Pay as of July 1, 2025 is $29.33 (Hourly).
