The Mammography Technologist will perform a wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, will provide support for other imaging technologists as needed, and help to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. The Mammography Technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required. The technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Expectation to participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within their scope of licensure. The Mammography Technologist will adhere to, and maintain, the expected imaging competencies as outlined by management. Behavior and communication skills must align with the organization's mission, values, and culture.

Troubleshoots and reports any equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and/or Biomedical personnel; does appropriate follow-up.
Performs other duties as assigned.

The Radiology Technologist will operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the ER Physician in accordance with the Radiologist accepted protocol. Each technologist will operate CT SCAN equipment to produce Computed Tomography (CT scans) of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the ER Physician in accordance with the Radiologist protocol. The Technologist will also be responsible for filling out appropriate paperwork and ensuring proper documentation in patients' chart. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintains awareness of all departmental and operational policies of AEC.
Assists in the maintenance of all equipment in the department, including cleaning and QA procedures
Explains to Patients the benefits and risks of Procedures and Exams
Prepares Patient as necessary for examination, i.e.: contrast, proper IV placements, checking labs.
Facilitates departmental operations through completion of all appropriate Contrast, Extravasations, Pregnancy, and other forms related to preformed exam.
Maintains safety precautions to minimize radiation exposure to patients, other personnel, and self.
Maintains current knowledge of Diagnostic Radiology /CT procedures performed in the Radiology Department.
