Summary:
The CT Tech operates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. They prepare patients for the procedure, position patients with considerations for safety and image accuracy, ensure proper imaging protocols are followed, and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. CT Techs also maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure and provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
Essential Work Functions:
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately
Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital's system
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
Ability to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice

The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail

Summary:
The Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and other specialized procedures within the EP lab. This role involves preparing patients for procedures, operating and troubleshooting EP lab equipment, monitoring patient responses, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The EP Lab Tech plays a crucial role in supporting cardiac mapping, ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and other specialized cardiac interventions.
Essential Work Functions:
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for EP lab patients and document findings accurately
Educate patients and families on electrophysiology procedures, pre-procedure expectations, and post-procedure care to ensure understanding and informed consent
Assist physicians with electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantations
Administer medications, including conscious sedation, per physician orders
Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and patient responses throughout procedures
Identify and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as needed
Maintain sterile technique and assist with equipment preparation, setup, and troubleshooting to support seamless procedural workflow
Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
Provide immediate post-procedure care, monitoring complications and ensuring stable recovery
Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Key Responsibilities:
Perform clinical and research-based fMRI scans including tasks targeting motor, visual, auditory, and language functions.
Administer block and event-related paradigms, and synchronize stimulus presentation with image acquisition.
Operate MRI equipment, set up scan parameters, and monitor the scan process while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
Prepare and position patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout fMRI procedures.
Administer contrast media per physician guidelines, and screen patients for contraindications such as implants or claustrophobia.
Evaluate image quality and collaborate with radiologists and neurologists to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Troubleshoot issues with acquisition or scanner hardware/software.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, IRB protocols (if applicable), and all institutional and federal regulations.
Maintain clean, functional MRI suites in accordance with infection control standards.
Stay current with developments in fMRI methodology, neuroimaging software, and emerging imaging technologies.
Education & Certifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Imaging Science, or related field.
Certification by the ARRT in Radiography (R) and MRI (MR) required; certification in Advanced Neuro Imaging is highly desirable.
BLS certification required.
State licensure as required.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in MRI, with at least 1 year of specialized experience in functional MRI in either a clinical or research environment.
Familiarity with neuroimaging software such as SPM, FSL, or AFNI is highly preferred.
Experience conducting fMRI studies in collaboration with neurologists, neurosurgeons, or research investigators is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
In-depth knowledge of functional MRI techniques, image acquisition parameters, and safety considerations.
Proficiency in scanner console operation and patient care in a high-volume MRI setting.
Strong understanding of human neuroanatomy and task-based fMRI design.

Under the general supervision of the Manager, the MRI Technologist operates and maintains the magnetic resonance scanner, enhances public awareness concerning magnetic resonance imaging, and assures the safety of patients and public in application of high quality diagnostic magnetic resonance (MR) images.
This position may be eligible for a $7500.00 sign on incentive, tuition loan reimbursement, and relocation.
Essential Job Functions
* Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic and department/service.
* According to established procedures and protocols, prepares patient for exam by assisting with dressing and undressing; assuring the removal of all metal objects and proper patient screening, lifting and assisting the patient to the exam table, proper positioning and preparation for the MR exam.
* Responsible for patient and family education prior to the procedure, minimizing claustrophobic reactions and obtaining cooperation from the patients.
* Performs the MR procedures that best assists the referring physician and radiologist in obtaining a diagnosis and improving patient management. Uses personal judgement in protocol development. Involves the radiologist and referring physician in protocol selection.
* Maintains patient and visitor safety with regard to entering the scan room. Ensures that no ferromagnetic objects enter the scan room. Ensures that personal articles are not inadvertently carried into the room and damaged. Responsible for maintaining the security zone strictly limiting access to the magnet room.
* Provides the radiologist with digital images within 30 minutes of completed exam. Ensure proper patient history and scan protocol information is included. All pertinent information is supplied to the radiologists expediently. Assists radiologist with directly viewing and manipulating images via viewing console and network technologies.
* Performs secretarial, clerical duties as required. May assist with proper patient scheduling, patient registration, answering questions and filing.
* Takes an active role in policy formation and revision. Make recommendations to Manager for changes. Participation in the development of departmental goals and objectives. Will make recommendations and presentations to Medical Directors and other health care professionals when requested. This includes typing skills, computer skills, presentation skills and basic research abilities.
* Responsible for proper venipuncture technique to inject contrast media under the supervision of a radiologist or assist the Radiology RN in establishing proper vein access. Must be prepared to aggressively assist or take responsibility in an emergency situation.
* Maintains knowledge of current applications within field by reading appropriate journal articles, attending lectures, in-services and seminars. Must utilize these resources to self-teach basic MR physics during the first year in absence of accredited MR training program. Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development; meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements.
* Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency environmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to job performance.
* Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization including maintaining inventory of medical supplies, linen, , other associated scan supplies; maintaining a neat, orderly work area; cleaning magnet and patient transport table; maintaining other ancillary equipment.

Provides radiation therapy services by contributing as an essential member of the radiation oncology treatment team. Responsible for performing the accurate delivery of prescribed radiation therapy under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist, using a variety of complex techniques and equipment. * Maintains knowledge of billing/patient charges and generates daily charges on the ARIA software.
* Performs monitor unit calculations in accordance with established procedures when appropriate. Performs checks on patients' charts for accuracy and documentation according to established procedures
* Maintains knowledge of mold room procedures. Is able to construct electron blocks or other devices as appropriate
* Is assigned to the on call schedule as per established procedures. Is able to complete patient setup, calculations and treatment on emergency basis.
* Maintains all equipment within a therapist scope of practice, including logs. Reports equipment malfunctions to medical physicist, lead therapist or department manager. Participants in quality assessment and improvement plan

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Billings, Montana. Required Qualifications:
One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Current ARRT Certification
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Summary:
The CT Tech operates computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. They prepare patients for the procedure, position patients with considerations for safety and image accuracy, ensure proper imaging protocols are followed, and work closely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. CT Techs also maintain equipment, keep patient records, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure and provide compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
Essential Work Functions:
Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately
Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital's system
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
Ability to adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice
Required Essential Skills:
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
