Estimated pay range for this position is $52.00 / hour depending on shift as applicable. Degrees: * Associates. Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support. Certified Radiologic Technologist. ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy. Additional Qualifications: Required: Associate of Science in Radiation Therapy or Associate in Radiologic Science with Radiation Therapy Certification and after 1/2015 an Associate degree with Radiation Therapy Certification. Possess a basic understanding of Radiation Oncology technical and theoretical components. Certification must be awarded by an institution accredited by ARRT. Minimum Required Experience: 1 year preferred.

Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination Explains and prepares patients for scanning imaging procedures that will be performed Performs routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians Providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure Adjusts scanning scan parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS) #LI-JO2
