As a MRI Tech with us you will: * Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. * Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. * Follow ACR practice guidelines and safety standards for MRI. * Demonstrate leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. * Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit. This is a per diem role, PRN staff on average pick up 1-2 shifts/week depending on needs. Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * High School Diploma or GED required * Registered Technologist, Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging - R.T. (R)and/or(MR)(ARRT) required * Current Basic Life Support certification required from American Heart Association Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly) Where You'll Work At CommonSpirit Mountain Region, we believe in the healing power of humanity and serving the common good through our dedicated work and shared mission to celebrate humankindness. MRI Technologist | Lone Tree, CO Reporting to Regional Manager of Clinical Operations Employment Type: Part-Time - 8 to 10 hours per week on Fridays Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by proving them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care. Primary Responsibilities: During a typical day you will... Independently perform MRI exams including positioning patients on the exam table to produce high quality images Provide clear and detailed information regarding the procedure and care to patients Complete appropriate documentation and obtain interpretation for each exam Adhere to radiation safety protocols in order to minimize exposure to patients and staff Manage patient priority and act as s first responder when needed All other duties as assigned Requirements: ARRT (MR) required CPR/BLS certification required 1-2 year with magnetic resonance experience preferred Ability to work independently Strong verbal/written communication Exemplary patient care & customer service skills Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment Must be able to read, write, and speak in English Why ISJ?
