Essential Functions
The MRI Technologist operates the Magnetic Resonance operations at SimonMed Imaging centers.
Knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging procedures and technology
Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies
Selects appropriate imaging techniques, and operates console and peripheral hardware; enters and monitors patient data, transfers images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develops film in automatic processor
Obtains images, produces film records and backups from disk to storage media, and transfers from desk to PACS stations
Maintains accurate study documentation
Performs a variety of tasks
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services while providing excellent customer service.
Utilizes and operates equipment and mechanical devices which provide for a functional, effective, and safe environment.

CT Technologist Full Time Evenings Position Summary
Performs a variety of radiological procedures, including vascular, invasive, interventional examinations and computerized tomographic procedures. Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment. Ability to perform duties of ARRT Technologist when not performing CT. Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Good verbal and written communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
SUPERVISES: May perform functional supervision over cross-training Radiology Technologists and/or students.
THE CT TECHNOLOGIST FULL TIME EVENINGS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.

Summary/Objective:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares, administers and measures radioactive isotopes in diagnostic cardiac studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculating doses to be administered by cardiologists.
Essential Functions:
Administers radiopharmaceuticals intravenously to detect or treat cardiac related diseases, using radioisotope equipment, under direction of a cardiologist.
Calculates, measures and records radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed, using computer and following physician's prescription.
Ensures and maintains quality control in regard to patient care and equipment usage.
Performs quality control checks on laboratory equipment, meters, and/or cameras, log into system, follow appropriate procedures for addressing and documenting issues.
Maintains and calibrates radioisotope and laboratory equipment; send out for calibration as needed
Disposes of radioactive materials and stores radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures.
Processes cardiac function studies, using computer.
Prepares radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to safety standards that minimize radiation exposure to workers and patients.
Records and processes results of procedures.
Explains test procedures and safety precautions to patients and provide them with assistance during test procedures.
Complete system/document backup at end of each scan day
Document monthly supply inventory and submit to Corporate
Meet with RSO quarterly
Inventory and submit supply lists in a timely manner
Communicates all issues to provider, Supervisor, and Corporate Office

Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.
Responsibilities
Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity.

Summary/Objective:
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares, administers and measures radioactive isotopes in diagnostic cardiac studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for preparing stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculating doses to be administered by cardiologists.
Essential Functions:
Administers radiopharmaceuticals intravenously to detect or treat cardiac related diseases, using radioisotope equipment, under direction of a cardiologist.
Calculates, measures and records radiation dosage or radiopharmaceuticals received, used, and disposed, using computer and following physician's prescription.
Ensures and maintains quality control in regard to patient care and equipment usage.
Performs quality control checks on laboratory equipment, meters, and/or cameras, log into system, follow appropriate procedures for addressing and documenting issues.
Maintains and calibrates radioisotope and laboratory equipment; send out for calibration as needed
Disposes of radioactive materials and stores radiopharmaceuticals, following radiation safety procedures.
Processes cardiac function studies, using computer.
Prepares radiopharmaceuticals, adhering to safety standards that minimize radiation exposure to workers and patients.
Records and processes results of procedures.
Explains test procedures and safety precautions to patients and provide them with assistance during test procedures.
Complete system/document backup at end of each scan day
Document monthly supply inventory and submit to Corporate
Meet with RSO quarterly

Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine from an approved program
Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and state certification, as applicable; applicable certification is required and must be maintained
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and must be maintained
