Ct technologist job in Waimea, HI
Job DescriptionStep into a pivotal radiology role as a Travel CT Tech in Kamuela, Hawaii, beginning February 2, 2026, for a multi-week assignment that lets you elevate patient care while you explore a destination noted for its sun-kissed beaches, volcanic landscapes, and welcoming culture. This opportunity is crafted for technologists who blend technical precision with compassionate patient interaction, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced setting. Beyond the hospital walls, Kamuela invites you to enjoy the beauty of Hawaii, where lush landscapes meet crystal-clear waters, and every day offers a chance to recharge after meaningful, purpose-driven work.
Working in Kamuela combines professional fulfillment with unique location benefits. You'll be part of a community where island life encourages focus, balance, and personal well-being, with faster access to outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, and pristine natural surroundings. You'll position and immobilize patients, administer contrast as indicated, and vigilantly monitor for adverse reactions, all while maintaining stringent radiation safety standards. You'll contribute to daily workflow optimization, perform routine quality control checks, and document imaging parameters and patient information accurately. Collaboration with radiologists, technologists, and support staff will be essential to ensure efficient turnarounds, effective patient communication, and a therapeutic environment where patients feel cared for. The role offers meaningful opportunities for professional growth through exposure to advanced imaging techniques, protocol optimization, and participation in continuing education activities as part of a dynamic radiology team.

This assignment begins on 02/02/2026 and runs for a multi-week term, with the potential for extension based on performance, staffing needs, and mutual interest. In addition to competitive pay, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, comprehensive housing assistance, and extension opportunities to continue your journey with the company. You'll have access to robust support throughout your travel experience, including 24/7 assistance from a dedicated team, travel logistics coordination, credentialing help, and ongoing clinical mentorship to ensure you feel confident and connected, wherever your assignment takes you.
